The Atomfall interactive map on Map Master covers the entire Windscale Quarantine Zone across five filterable, progress-tracked region maps — built for the BAFTA-winning British survival RPG developed and published by Rebellion Developments and released on 27 March 2025.
Set in an alternate-history 1960s England where the real 1957 Windscale nuclear fire spiralled into catastrophe, Atomfall reached 1.5 million players within days of launch — Rebellion's most successful release in their 32-year history.
Every Atomic Battery, Training Stimulant, Finding, Lead, Garden Gnome, and Key Item is tracked and filterable on our Atomfall interactive maps.
Five Regions, Five Dedicated Interactive Maps
The Windscale Quarantine Zone is divided into five distinct regions, each with a dedicated Map Master map covering all collectibles, points of interest, NPCs, and gear:
- Slatten Dale — the opening region, a vertical quarry landscape where the game begins and the first Leads and Findings are established. The starting hub for understanding the Windscale disaster.
- Wyndham Village — the heart of the quarantine zone's civilian life. Leads connecting the region's factions run through here, and several key NPCs only appear in Wyndham.
- Casterfell Woods — dense forest territory controlled by the Druid faction. Some of the most hidden collectibles and the most dangerous open-world encounters are here.
- Skethermoor — Protocol headquarters and the game's most heavily guarded area. Atomic Batteries and Manuals locked behind Protocol checkpoints are documented here.
- The Interchange — the massive underground facility that serves as the game's culminating location. Every Atomic Battery collected across all five regions is used here.
What the Atomfall Map Tracks That Others Don't
The three most-searched Atomfall collectible categories are also the most consistently absent from static guide sites — Map Master is one of the only interactive resources tracking all of them as dedicated filterable categories:
- Atomic Batteries — the critical progression item. Collected by scavenging, trading, and defeating robots across all five regions, Atomic Batteries are required to power The Interchange. Missing any significantly limits the final sequence.
- Training Stimulants — the game's skill points, scattered physically across the world rather than awarded from levelling up. Every Stimulant is permanent and non-respawning; the build you finish the game with depends entirely on which ones were found.
- Garden Gnomes — the game's hidden destructible collectibles and the subject of a dedicated achievement. Their locations are among the least documented of any Atomfall collectible on other platforms.
The Investigation System: Findings and Leads
Atomfall replaces traditional quest markers with a Findings and Leads system. Findings are physical items — notes, holotapes, environmental clues — that each unlock a Lead in the investigation journal, pointing toward a new location, NPC, or event.
There are no waypoints by default; the game expects players to navigate from the journal entry's description. Map Master's Findings markers combined with the Key Items guide make this process dramatically faster, particularly for unlocking the game's multiple faction-dependent endings.
