Wuchang: Fallen Feathers: Merchant Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

Wuchang: Fallen Feathers has exactly two merchants — Tao Qing and Wu Gang — both travelling NPCs who follow Wuchang across the regions of Shu, expanding their stock each time a turn-in item is delivered.

Both merchants are marked at all their locations on our Wuchang: Fallen Feathers interactive maps covering every area of Shu.

Finding the Merchants at Any Time

Both merchants display their current location icon in the fast travel menu at any Shrine. If either merchant is not at their last known location, open the fast travel screen and look for their character portrait to see where they've moved.

Merchants move between regions as the story progresses — they are never permanently lost.

Two Merchants, Two Specialisations

Tao Qing — specialises in Armor Sets (unlocked via boss-drop turn-ins), Jade Pendants (Lifesteal, Bird, Fiend-Felling, Kylin, and Peace Pendants), and unique accessories. His upgrade items are primarily boss drops — gold orb items that drop automatically after defeating major Bosses.

Delivering all 17 Tao Qing upgrade items unlocks the Well Traveled trophy.

Wu Gang — specialises in Weapons (four weapons also available as world pickups), consumables (Lotus Seeds, Flying Daggers, Fire Pots), Red Feathers (Faint → Brilliant → Radiant as the shop expands), and Benedictions and Spells exclusive to his stock. His upgrade items are purple world pickups found through exploration and in side path chests.

Delivering all 9 Wu Gang upgrade items unlocks the Shop of Plenty trophy.

Shop upgrades carry over to New Game Plus — all progress is retained.

All Merchant Locations Across Shu

• Shu Sanctum — the first accessible location for both merchants. Tao Qing is on the left side of the main entrance, Wu Gang on the right. Both have their initial base stock here. Wu Gang's shop can begin to be upgraded with items found during Worship's Rise.

• Snowy Passage — Wu Gang relocates to the tunnel in front of the Shrine here, carrying the same inventory as his Shu Sanctum stock plus additional Cloudspire-era items (Senior Maid's armor, Snowfall sets, Brilliant Red Feathers, and additional Benedictions). Tao Qing does not appear at Snowy Passage.

• Refugee Camp — both merchants appear together in front of tents by the Shrine. Tao Qing's inventory expands here to include Sovereign's Set and two additional Jade Pendants (Kylin and Peace). Wu Gang's inventory expands further with Mad Doctor, Lotus, Ghost Warrior, Face-Changer, and Terror Clam armor sets, additional Flying Dagger variants, more Spells, and new Benedictions.

• Ruined Annalum — both merchants appear at their final locations (Tao Qing in the small courtyard shack, Wu Gang in the gazebo above the pond) with their largest combined stock. Tao Qing's final inventory adds Commander's Set, Bo Magus Set, True Dragon's Hood, and the Malice Sting spear. Wu Gang's final inventory adds Leech, Godguard, and Avian Hunter armor, Radiant Red Feathers (required for weapon Mastery +7 to +9), and additional late-game Benedictions.
