Wuchang: Fallen Feathers: Benediction Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

Benedictions are the rune-like charms that socket into Wuchang: Fallen Feathers' weapon system, defining the passive effects that separate a functional build from a dominant one.

There are 54 Benedictions to discover across all areas of Shu — socketed into your Weapons across three distinct slot types. None are tied to a trophy, but they are the primary tool for overcoming the game's hardest boss encounters and unlocking the Discerning Eye trophy through the seven Benediction Gates.

Every Benediction is tracked at exact coordinates on the hand-drawn Wuchang: Fallen Feathers interactive maps — 50 originals built from scratch by MapMaster's team.

Three Weapon Slots in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers

Each weapon in Wuchang carries exactly three Benediction slots — one of each type — and only one Benediction per slot type can be equipped at a time:

  • Oath Slot — primarily defensive buffs: block potency, damage reduction on status trigger, and initial strike bonuses
  • Memory Slot — utility effects: health recovery on kill, Stamina management, life leech on Skyborn Might
  • Wisdom Slot — offensive boosts: spell scaling, Discipline damage scaling, combo damage multipliers

Set Bonuses: Why Matching Benedictions Matters

Equipping three Benedictions from the same-named set triggers a Set Bonus — an additional effect that activates on top of each individual charm's passive.

Every set of three Benedictions from the same prefix (Wei, Shan, Bu, Sheng, Fa, Ta, or Ren) qualifies for its own bonus. The strongest confirmed set is the Mastery Set:

  • Wei Tri-Disciplinary Force — increases damage when 3 Discipline skills are known — sold by Wu Gang at Shu Sanctum
  • Wei Six-Disciplinary Force — increases damage when 6 Discipline skills are known — sold by Wu Gang at Snowy Passage
  • Wei Nine-Disciplinary Force — increases damage when 9 Discipline skills are known — sold by the Panda Merchant for 5 Bamboo Shoots at Depths of the Capital

All three equipped simultaneously can increase total damage output by over 50% when Discipline skills are maxed.

Four Ways to Find Benedictions in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers

  • Benediction Gates — 7 large yellow doors hidden across all regions. Each gate opens with the Chisel carried from the start of the game — no special items required. Opening a gate immediately grants the Benediction inscribed on it and unlocks a permanent shortcut in the surrounding area. Opening all 7 earns the Discerning Eye trophy. The first gate is in Cloudspire Outskirts (Sheng – Lethal Might). Gates do not carry over into New Game Plus.

  • Riddle Gates — red doors that are separate from Benediction Gates. Riddle Gates present a question with two choices; the correct answer rewards a Benediction alongside other items. Do not confuse the two — Riddle Gates count toward a different trophy and use a different interaction system.

  • Boss drops — defeating major bosses rewards their signature Benediction. Wei – Vitality Ferocity drops from Feathered Priest — Lu Bingzhang at Shu Sanctum, Wei – Combo Force from Commander – Honglan at Tang Emperor Palace, and Fa – Blood Magic from the final boss Feathery Ambition — Xuanyangz at The Forbidden Lands.

  • Merchants and NPCs — Wu Gang sells multiple Benedictions after shop upgrades, with the largest selection at Shu Sanctum and Snowy Passage. The Panda Merchant sells the Wei Nine-Disciplinary Force at Depths of the Capital for 5 Bamboo Shoots. The Red-Clad Lady NPC at Doomwillow Beach gives Sheng – Backstab Rejuvenation on speaking to her, and the Boatman NPC at Depths of the Capital gives Ren – Blood Vigor through dialogue.

NG+ Benediction Progression

In New Game Plus, collecting a Benediction already owned in the base game yields a +1 or +2 upgraded version with significantly higher percentage boosts — the same as Jade Pendants.

These upgraded versions are essential for the increased difficulty of NG+ cycles and are found in the same locations as their base-game counterparts.
