Wuchang: Fallen Feathers: Benediction Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

Benedictions are powerful rune-like charms in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers that serve as the primary way to customize your weapon’s performance. By socketing these into your gear, you can unlock passive buffs that range from simple damage increases to complex life-leeching and elemental synergies.


There are a total of 54 Benedictions to discover. While they are not tied to a specific trophy, they are very important for overcoming the game's brutal difficulty spikes and reaching 100% completion.


Each weapon in Wuchang features three distinct slots. You can only equip one Benediction of each type per weapon:


  • Oath Slot: Primarily focused on defensive buffs, block potency, and initial strike bonuses.
  • Memory Slot: Usually contains utility effects, such as health recovery on kill or stamina management.
  • Wisdom Slot: Home to your primary offensive boosts, spell scaling, and specialized damage multipliers.


While individual Benedictions are helpful, the real power comes from matching specific runes to trigger Set Bonuses.


The Mastery Set, for example, is widely considered the strongest damage set in the game. It scales your damage based on how many Discipline Skills you have unlocked for your weapon. It requires the following Benedictions:


  • Wei Tri-Disciplinary Force: Found early in Chapter 1.
  • Wei Six-Disciplinary Force: Located behind a hidden wall in the Mercury Workshop.
  • Wei Nine-Disciplinary Force: Purchased from the Panda Merchant in the late game.


Having all three equipped can increase your total damage by over 50%.


Because these items are well-hidden, you must use different methods to find all 54:


  • Benediction Gates: These are yellow doors hidden in each region.
  • Boss Souls: Defeating major bosses like Lu Bingzhang or the Perfect Bride will grant unique runes tied to their combat style.
  • The Panda Merchant: Save your Bamboo Shoots! Some of the most powerful "Wisdom" slot Benedictions are sold exclusively by the traveling Panda.


In NG+, Benedictions follow a progression system similar to Jade Pendants:


  • You will find +1 and +2 versions of previously collected Benedictions.
  • These upgraded charms offer significantly higher percentage boosts than their base counterparts, making them mandatory for the increased difficulty of NG+ cycles.


Because many Benedictions are hidden behind "Mystery Doors" or quest-specific dialogue choices, it is easy to be locked out of a specific set bonus for an entire playthrough. Rest assured that our hand-drawn Wuchang: Fallen Feathers interactive maps and the list below include all of them.

Found inside the box at the edge of the lower ledge, you can reach by dropping from above. After collecting it, you must go around the Cloudspire City rooftops to return to the palace.

  • If a nearby enemy suffers Burn, gain increased damage for a time and Skyborn Might.

Found inside a small box guarded by a bird-like enemy.

  • Lightning damage now increases the Lightning damage enemies take.

Found on the suspended bridge in the large courtyard. It can be accessed via the hole in the roof.

It can be obtained by opening the Benediction Gate at the end of the passage. The gate also acts as a shortcut to and from the Capital Entrance.
