Wuchang: Fallen Feathers: Armor Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide
In Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, your armor is your primary defense against both physical strikes and the supernatural status effects of the land of Shu. There are a total of 52 Armor Sets to collect, alongside numerous unique pieces dropped by enemies.
While there is no specific achievement for collecting every set, acquiring them is important for fine-tuning your build and surviving high-level boss encounters.
The 46 base-game armor sets are scattered across the world and acquired through four main methods:
- Boss Rewards: Defeating major story Bosses often grants their signature attire.
- Elite Enemy Drops: Keep an eye out for enemies with a purple glow or smoky haze. These "Elite" foes frequently drop unique armor pieces or full sets and do not respawn once defeated.
- NPC Questlines: Helping characters like He Youzai or Wu Gang can reward you with specialized gear (e.g., the Pirate or Militia sets).
- Merchant Purchases: Most boss armors must be "unlocked" at vendors. You must find specific items (like the Copper Jug or Wooden Strip) and give them to Tao Qing or Wu Gang to make the sets available for purchase.
If you pre-ordered the game or purchased the Deluxe Edition, you have access to 6 exclusive armor sets:
- These items are not found in the world. Instead, they must be claimed from the Donation Box located in the Reverent Temple.
- These sets are: The Night Spectre (Black/White), Soul Ritual, Draconic Resurgence, and Overlord Regalia.
Because many sets are locked behind merchant "turn-in" items hidden in optional corners of the map, completing your collection requires thorough exploration.
