Resident Evil Requiem: Item Box Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

There are 7 Item Boxes in Resident Evil Requiem — the green storage trunks that anchor every safe room and give Grace Ashcroft somewhere to deposit items she can't carry.

Every box is linked to the same shared pool, so anything Grace stores in the Care Center is accessible from the ARK.

What is the Item Box in Resident Evil Requiem?

Item Boxes are Grace's personal storage system — a shared inventory that persists across every box in the game.

Put something in the Guard Office box and retrieve it from the ARK Lab Entrance box later.

There is no limit to how much you can store. Every safe room contains an Item Box paired with a Typewriter, making safe rooms the natural point for inventory management between sections.

Grace Only: Leon Cannot Use Item Boxes

Leon cannot use the item boxes. His storage system is entirely separate — Supply Boxes scattered through East Raccoon City and the ARK serve as Leon's weapon purchase and management points, but they don't share storage with Grace's Item Boxes.

Don't try to leave items for Leon in a box — he has no access to them.

Out of Sight, Out of Mind: The Trophy You Earn in the Guard Office

In the Guard Office, interact with the Item Box and place any item in it.

The "Out of Sight, Out of Mind" trophy unlocks immediately on the first interaction. This is the earliest Item Box in the game — the first safe room Grace reaches after the opening section.

Drop any item from your inventory into the box, and the trophy is yours before you've explored a single additional room.

What to Store and What Not to Store

Keep your active inventory lean. Store items you'll need later but not right now — spare Ink Ribbon Tins, duplicate weapons, Scrap, extra Ammo types, and Key Items that have served their purpose.

The Blood Collector and Grace's active healing items should stay in inventory at all times.

One practical navigation note: on your map, a room stays Red until every resource in it has been collected — including any Files, Ammo, and Antique Coins.

A Red safe room doesn't mean the Item Box is missed — it means something else in that room hasn't been collected yet.

• Custodian's Office — Care Center mid-section.
• Security Room — Care Center Basement area.
• VIP Suite — Care Center Courtyard wing, next to a lamp.
• Courtyard Reception — corner of the Reception room leading to the Courtyard.
• Storage Bay — Water Treatment Plant, by the table.
• Lab Entrance — ARK, first safe room after entering the facility.
