Resident Evil Requiem: Item Boxes Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

In the claustrophobic corridors of RE Requiem, your inventory is your greatest limitation. Finding all Item Box locations is vital for survival, as these green trunks allow you to store high-tier materials like Rare Metals and offload Key Items you no longer need.

The most important rule in Requiem: Every Safe Room is an Item Box room. If you hear the change in music and see a Typewriter, an Item Box is guaranteed to be nearby.

Item Boxes in Requiem utilize a "Shared Quantum Storage" system. This means any item Grace puts into a box in the Care Center can be retrieved by Leon later in the ARK facility. Here is how you should use these boxes properly:

• Your base inventory is small. Use boxes to store Scrap, Infected Blood, and Gunpowder until you are ready for a major crafting session.
• Once a key item has served its purpose and shows a small red checkmark, you can discard it, but it’s often safer to store it in a box until you're 100% certain.
• On your map, a room containing an Item Box will remain Red until you have also collected every other resource in that room (like Antique Coins or Files).
• Grace’s unique items, like the Blood Collector, should never be stored during her segments. However, storing excess Empty Tins can free up space for more Med Injectors.
• Always organize your box at the start of a session. Group your ammo, healing items, and crafting components in separate corners of the grid to minimize time spent in menus during a chase.
