Resident Evil Requiem: Antique Coin Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

Surviving the horrors of the Care Center in Resident Evil 9: Requiem depends heavily on how you manage its unique economy. Unlike previous entries where coins were scattered worldwide, the Antique Coins in Requiem are found exclusively as Grace within the Care Center's walls.

While they aren't required for any trophies or achievements, securing at least 17 coins is mandatory for any player who wants to unlock all four essential Character Upgrades found in the Parlor Lockers.

The Antique Coins serve one purpose: acting as currency for the lockers in the Care Center Parlor. Since there are many coins available on Casual and Standard difficulties, you have a small margin for error, as only 17 are needed to fully "max out" your protagonist:

  • Hip Pouch: Grants 2 extra inventory slots—critical for carrying more blood collectors and ammo.
  • Stabilizer: Increases overall gun damage and improves weapon handling.
  • Steroids: Provides a permanent boost to your maximum health.
  • Override Manual: Increases your maximum blood collector capacity by 50, allowing for longer excursions into the Care Center’s depths.

Once you have purchased these four upgrades, any remaining coins have no further use and can be safely ignored. On Casual and Standard difficulties, Antique Coins appear as a shimmering gold "Grace" effect. To find all 21, you must meticulously scour the Care Center:

  • Coins are often hidden in the crevices of the Center's gothic architecture—check behind tipped gurneys, inside open lockers, and on high shelves in the clinical wards.
  • Note that this guide covers the Casual/Standard placements. If you are playing on Insanity difficulty, the experience changes completely; coins are primarily dropped by enemies throughout the Center rather than being static pickups in the environment.
  • Because the Care Center is draped in shadow, use your flashlight to catch the distinct glint of the Grace effect, which can be easily overlooked against the dusty floors.

To prevent you from leaving the Care Center under-equipped, the Map Master team has marked the locations of all Antique Coins on our Resident Evil 9: Requiem Interactive Maps.

Our markers follow the Casual/Standard layout, providing screenshots of the exact Grace spots to help you reach that 17-coin threshold as quickly as possible. Use the table below to verify which sections of the Center you’ve cleared and claim your locker rewards in the Parlor.
