There are 13 confirmed Upgrades in Resident Evil Requiem — permanent character improvements for both Grace Ashcroft and Leon Kennedy, spanning inventory expansions, stat boosters, and weapon attachments.

Grace's Upgrades: Priority Order

The Hip Pouch is by far the best upgrade for Grace — each one adds two inventory slots, cutting down trips to the Item Box significantly.

The Override Manual should come immediately after, expanding blood collector capacity from 100 to 150 units.

You need this before leaving the Care Center, as the powerful late-game craftables all require spending 100+ blood resources. After those two: Steroids (permanent max health), then Stabilizer (permanent weapon handling and recoil reduction).

The Parlor: What Each Upgrade Costs

All four Grace upgrades are in locked cabinets in the Care Center Parlor — accessed via the Red Jewel from the Unicorn Trinket Box in the Chairman's Office. Exact Antique Coin costs per cabinet:

• Hip Pouch — 3 Antique Coins (adds 2 inventory slots). The Parlor also contains 3 Antique Coins in a nearby container — collect them first and spend them immediately to unlock the Hip Pouch before progressing past the Parlor.
• Steroids — 4 Antique Coins (permanent max health increase).
• Stabilizer — 4 Antique Coins (permanent weapon damage and handling improvement).
• Override Manual — 6 Antique Coins (blood collector +50 capacity, from 100 to 150 units).

Total for all four Parlor upgrades: 17 Antique Coins. All four are worth buying — none are skippable.

Leon's Upgrades: Priority Order

For Leon, the Case Upgrade and Body Armor provide the biggest early impact before spending credits on weapon tuning.

• The Case Upgrade (8x13) costs 4,000 Credits at the East Raccoon City Supply Box — the only inventory expansion available to Leon and an immediate quality of life improvement.
• Body Armor Lv. 1 (8,000 Credits) adds a secondary health buffer that absorbs damage before your health bar depletes.
• Body Armor Lv. 2 (20,000 Credits, requires Lv. 1) deepens that buffer significantly. On Insanity difficulty only,
• Body Armor Lv. 3 becomes available for 45,000 Credits — a substantial credit investment that is confirmed in the checklist as the highest-cost upgrade in the game.

First Playthrough Only: The Compensator

The Compensator is a world-found weapon attachment in the closet in the Care Center Attic. It is only available on a first playthrough — the case is empty in New Game Plus.

Attaching the Compensator to your Handgun unlocks the Tailor Mode trophy immediately. Don't miss it on your first run — it won't be there on subsequent visits.

The Silver Finish Scope is a world-found Leon attachment in a crate inside a large container in the Raccoon City Center Parking Garage. No Credit cost — direct pickup.
