In Resident Evil 9: Requiem, character progression is split between Leon Kennedy’s tactical gear and Grace Ashcroft’s biological enhancements. Mastering all Upgrade locations is essential for surviving the increasing lethality of the Care Center and the ARK.
While Leon focuses on industrial-grade weapon parts and Body Armor, Grace relies on permanent stat boosters like Steroids and Stabilizers that must be purchased or crafted using rare medical supplies. For Grace, there are also 4 Hip Pouches available in the game, each adding two slots to your inventory.
Grace boosts her maximum health and firearm handling through specialized consumables. Your first guaranteed upgrades are found in the Parlor. You must spend 4 Antique Coins for each to unlock the glass cases:
To upgrade further, you must find the "Reversible" Blood Specimen in the Blood Lab Storage (requires Lv 1 Wristband). Once analyzed, you can craft Steroids/Stabilizers using Empty Injectors and Infected Blood.
Leon’s progression is tied to his Credits and finding rare attachments in the field. Leon can purchase permanent upgrades at any Supply Box using credits earned from defeated enemies and Tracking Modules:
Missing a Hip Pouch or other upgrade can leave your character severely underpowered for the late-game areas of the ARK. To help you overcome the zombies, we cataloged every fixed upgrade location on our Resident Evil Requiem maps. Feel free to access them via the links below.
