Mafia: The Old Country Interactive Maps & Completion Hub

Mafia: The Old Country is a linear action-adventure developed by Hangar 13 and published by 2K, released August 8, 2025, for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The fourth main entry in the Mafia franchise — and a prequel set decades before the original game — it follows Enzo Favara, a 17-year-old carusu forced into indentured labour in Sicily's sulfur mines in 1904.

MapMaster's Sicily interactive map overlays every collectible, landmark, and point of interest directly onto the game's own in-game map of the island — the definitive tracking tool for 100% completion.

Story Mode and Explore Mode

Mafia: The Old Country is built around two play modes.

Story Mode delivers a tightly paced linear campaign across eight chapters, guiding Enzo from carusu to made man across the sun-scorched towns, coastal docks, sulfur mines, and grand estates of rural Sicily.

Explore Mode — added in the November 2025 update — unlocks free roam across the full Sicily map after completing the campaign, with bonus missions, races, and uninterrupted collectible hunting. The upcoming Man of Honor expansion (August 14, 2026) adds two new story chapters set within the main campaign and reintroduces Don Salieri, the antagonist of the original Mafia game.

The Collector Trophy: Four Collectible Types Required

One trophy, "The Collector", demands all four primary collectible types in a single completionist run:

  • 50 Mystery Foxes — hidden animal sightings across Sicily's countryside, towns, and coastlines.
  • 50 Newspapers — period-authentic press scattered through story chapters and open areas.
  • 23 Photographs — snapshotted scenes and people tied to chapter progression.
  • 20 Saints' Cards — devotional collectibles hidden throughout San Celeste and the surrounding regions.

All four types are marked on the Sicily interactive map with individual icons distinguishable at a glance.

Upgrades, Currency, and Chapter Items

Beyond the four trophy collectibles, MapMaster tracks every item that affects Enzo's capabilities and progression:

  • Charms come in two forms: Medallions and Beads — equippable items providing passive bonuses to Enzo's combat, stealth, and survival stats.
  • Trinacria Artifacts — named for the three-legged symbol of Sicily — are the primary skill upgrade collectibles, directly boosting Enzo's core abilities.
  • Locked Boxes are the main source of Dinari currency used to purchase weapons, gear, and upgrades from Pasquale's Stores across Sicily.
  • Notes are chapter-exclusive lore items that only appear during specific story missions and cannot be recovered after their chapter ends.

Four Regions of Sicily Covered

The map covers all major areas surrounding San Celeste across four distinct regions:

  • San Celeste — the central fictional town built around Sicilian architecture, including the Town Hall, the market square, and Enzo's early-game haunts.
  • Porto Almaro — the docks district centred on the Lighthouse, where the criminal underworld meets the sea.
  • Collezolfo — the sulfur mine and factory complex where Enzo's story begins; the most hazardous terrain on the island.
  • Valle Dorata — the golden valley estates, including Villa Torrisi, the seat of the Torrisi crime family's power.

Navigate with Chapter Markers and Landmarks

Chapter Starting Points let players jump to any story mission location directly from the map — useful for replay and collectible mopping.

Points of Interest cover every Fast Travel point, Stable, Garage, and named landmark in Explore Mode, turning the Sicily map into a complete navigation aid beyond the story campaign.
