Wuchang: Fallen Feathers: Radiant Red Feather Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

Radiant Red Feathers are the third-tier weapon upgrade material in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers — the resource that carries any weapon class from Mastery +6 to +9 in the Impetus Repository skill tree at any Shrine.

They appear in Chapter 3 and 4 areas, concentrated in the Mt. Zhenwu endgame and the Ruined regions and Bo Capital.

Every confirmed world pickup is tracked on the Fallen Feathers interactive maps.

The Full Red Feather Upgrade System

Four Red Feather tiers cover the complete weapon Mastery path from +1 to +10:

• Faint Red Feather — Mastery +1 to +3, Chapter 1
• Brilliant Red Feather — Mastery +4 to +6, Chapter 2
• Radiant Red Feather — Mastery +7 to +9, Chapters 3–4
• Lustrous Red Feather — Mastery +10 maximum, one per weapon class

Upgrading one weapon class from +6 to +9 requires approximately 12 Radiant Red Feathers (following the 2+4+6 pip structure of earlier tiers).

Respeccing at any Shrine refunds all spent Radiant Red Feathers — investment in one weapon class can be fully redirected to another at no additional cost.

No trophy requires collecting Radiant Red Feathers. All can eventually be purchased from Wu Gang after his shop is fully upgraded.

Wu Gang and the Gilded Axe

Wu Gang unlocks Radiant Red Feathers for purchase after receiving the Gilded Axe — a Wu Gang Upgrade item found in Worship's Rise in Ruins (the fourth region).

Delivering the Gilded Axe to Wu Gang at Ruined Annalum adds Radiant Red Feathers to his stock permanently, making the merchant the most reliable ongoing source once unlocked.

World pickups supplement this supply in the Ruined areas and Bo Capital for players who need feathers before reaching Ruined Annalum.

The Most Dangerous Single Pickup in the Guide

One Radiant Red Feather at Avian Marsh sits in a burned nest on the right side of the path leading up the roots. Collecting it causes Wuchang to drop to the area below.

The landing point is random — she may land on the invisible bridge near the Benediction Chest, or fall further.

At low health, the fall damage from landing on the invisible bridge can be lethal. Ensure near-full health before approaching this nest and be ready for the repositioning.

The Catwalk Location at Zhenwu Antechamber

One of the four Radiant Red Feathers at Zhenwu Antechamber requires precise elevator timing: take the elevator to the top floor of the building, then exit the elevator while it is moving downward and continue along the catwalk alongside the wall.

The Radiant Red Feather sits on the catwalk at the point where the elevator descent intersects the walkway. Riding the elevator all the way to the bottom misses it entirely.

All Radiant Red Feather Locations in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers

Capital Entrance — 6 Radiant Red Feathers: near the stone pillar in the corrupted pond, on top of the altar, inside a pot, on a rock at the top of the stairs, behind the flower in the corrupted blood pool, and at the edge of a platform reached by dropping from above. The single densest area in the entire guide.

Zhenwu Antechamber — 4 Radiant Red Feathers: found by the wall after jumping from above, at the end of the spike trap balcony, at the edge of the roof, and the catwalk via elevator timing.

Avian Marsh — 3 Radiant Red Feathers: on a root on the upper forest path, near the Summoner by the large tree, and the fall-drop burned nest (health warning applies).

Ruined Shu Sanctum — 3 Radiant Red Feathers: two from Elite Enemies in the same room (one each on defeat), and one from the Red-Eyed Feathered Officer – Dual Halberds.

Ruined Palace Pass — 2 Radiant Red Feathers: one guaranteed drop from the nearby Elite enemy, one next to a corpse in the blood pool.

Single Radiant Red Feathers at Ruined Tang Emperor Palace (by the gate leading to the forest), Bai Mansion & Rivulet (on the altar near the Plain Warrioress), Underground Palace (on the table at the end of the balcony), Altar Gate (on the wooden platform below the bridge — drop from the wooden bridge above to reach it), and Depths of the Capital (in front of the Storyteller in the cave behind the Benediction Gate).
