Silent Hill f: Higashi Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

Higashi are fruit-flavoured Japanese pressed candies that serve as Silent Hill f's primary Stamina consumable — a critical resource in a game where every dodge, sprint, and attack costs Stamina and running empty at the wrong moment means standing still in front of a monster.

Every Higashi location is tracked on the interactive SHf maps, with spawn triggers and the one locked door entry noted throughout.

Note: This guide covers base-game Higashi only. NG+ and NG++ locations are tracked separately.

What Higashi Does in Silent Hill f

Higashi provides two benefits. As a consumable, it fully restores Hinako's Stamina and temporarily prevents Stamina consumption for approximately 10–15 seconds — a window long enough to chain heavy attacks, complete a dodge sequence, sprint across an open area, or maintain Focus without interruption.

As an Offering at any Hokora shrine, it yields 80 Faith — the same value as Chocolate, despite serving a different combat function.

When inventory is full, and Stamina is not currently the concern, enshrining spare Higashi for Faith is a clean conversion that feeds Omamori draws and stat upgrades at the shrine.

Two Uses: Stamina and Faith

The strategic calculus for Higashi is simpler than for most consumables. Stamina is depletable mid-fight and not automatically restored between enemies — running out mid-encounter creates a genuine danger state. We recommend keeping a stack of three Higashi for any unavoidable fights, treating it as a dedicated combat stack rather than a general inventory item.

Since it can also be enshrined for Faith when surplus, Higashi is never wasted, regardless of which option is chosen.

The 10–15 Second Window: Higashi vs Perfect Dodge

Higashi is not the only way to restore Stamina mid-fight.

A perfectly timed dodge — pressing dodge just before an enemy strikes — not only slows time briefly but also instantly recharges Stamina. On harder difficulty settings, landing perfect dodges consistently reduces Higashi consumption significantly.

The Plum Omamori increases maximum Stamina permanently, extending how long Hinako can dodge and attack before the bar depletes.

Higashi becomes most valuable in encounters where the fight pace prevents perfect dodge timing or where Stamina has bottomed out completely and needs an immediate reset rather than a gradual recharge through combat rhythm.

The 10–15 second immunity window is the differentiator — no perfect dodge creates that sustained invulnerability to Stamina drain.

The Hardest Higashi to Find

One Ebisugaoka Higashi requires specific navigation and only becomes available after completing the Corridors: tucked inside a small wooden box in front of Inari statues behind a concrete wall.

Coming down the stairs, turn hard left and hug the wall — the box is not visible from the standard path and is easy to overlook even on a thorough sweep.

The location was revised by the MapMaster community and is cross-linked at its exact map coordinate.

Spawn-Triggered and Locked Door Higashi

Several Higashi only appear after reaching specific areas:

  • After returning from Shrine Path — one Higashi spawns on a small bench under a tree in a backyard in Ebisugaoka.
  • After completing the Corridors — one Higashi becomes available at the Inari statue position (see above), and one spawns on a cabinet in a house explored after returning from the Corridors.
  • After returning from Treasure Hall — one Higashi spawns on bags in the back of a house in Ebisugaoka.
  • After returning from the Dark Shrine (second Main Hall visit) — one Higashi spawns on a bike seat in Ebisugaoka.
  • Shimizu Residence — one Higashi is at the end of the corridor behind the Pine Tree Emblem Door, requiring that door to be unlocked before collection.

All Higashi Locations in Silent Hill f

Ebisugaoka carries the heaviest spread — across small shrines, courtyards, parks, fences, rice bales, and narrow paths, including all spawn-triggered entries.

Main Hall holds four across its Hokora room, crates, a locked room, and a corridor. Corridors has two — one near the Hokora on a rock, one by the railing. Treasure Hall has two, Worship Hall two, Shrine Path one, and Shimizu Residence two including the locked door entry.
