Revenge of the Savage Planet: Mission Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

Missions in Revenge of the Savage Planet are the journal's tracked objectives — the story spine, the collect-everything meta-quests, the Habitat challenge programs, and the post-story Slappi mystery, all in one list.

Map Master's guide documents every mission with its prerequisites and full objective chain, cross-linked to the exact map locations each step requires — all tied into the Revenge of the Savage Planet interactive maps.

The Story Spine: From Crash to Launch

The campaign runs through one backbone mission — This Has My Name on It — which nests the game's major beats as sub-missions: recovering the Power Hose (Making a Splash), the Proton Whip (My First Rodeo), the Hognork hunt (Come Over Here), the Wormzilla fight and Magnetic Fork (May the Fork Be With You in Caves of Miranyth), and Clawbarella's frozen depths (Under The (Frozen) Sea).

It all funnels into Roundtrip 2.0: lift the old Javelin out of the swamp, repair it, and launch home.

The Completionist Meta-Missions

Six missions exist purely to track 100% hunts, each mapping onto a dedicated collectible guide:

  • No Rock Unturned — fill the entire Kindex (all 436 entries)
  • Raw Potential — collect every Printer Slurry
  • Worlds Traveller — activate every Teleporter
  • Alien Ultrafood — eat every Orange Goo on all planets
  • Interstellar Fashionista — collect all suit pieces from Supply Crates
  • Galactic Travel & Leisure — snap every Selfie Spot

The Challenge Programs

  • Upgrade-O-Rama — the biggest optional undertaking in the game: 18 named challenges across four Clearance Levels, from Aerial Disarray to Skeet Shoot, each unlocking upgrade blueprints. Completing one group earns For the Challenge!; all of them earn For Moar Challenge!. Our table links to a video walkthrough for every individual challenge.

  • Crash Test Dummy — test the Prototype Suit against high-speed landing, extreme heat, high voltage, and flash solidification. Completing it earns the 50G achievement of the same name.

  • D.I.A.P.E.R. Program — the Habitat's inbox questline chaining Galactic Travel & Leisure, Interstellar Geographic, Crash Test Dummy, and STV Cribs (where the Shama Lama judges your Habitat — stock up via Alta Coupon Crates first). Finishing the entire program earns the 50G Ding Dong achievement.

The Alta Storyline Starts Randomly

Best Served Cold — the evidence-gathering quest against Alta — has no fixed trigger: it starts randomly while exploring Xephyr, beginning with a Cryopod scan in Cactus Valley.

It chains into the two Nastygram From Alta cleanup missions at Nu Florida — and both spawn one-time scannable Hazards (the Gunther Standee and Unsettling Clone), so open the scanner before the demolition.

Post-Story: Interstellar Enigma

The longest-running mystery mission spans the whole game and concludes after it: watch the strange transmissions, complete Fine, I'll Do It at the Summit, then collect all Pentaforce pieces by completing every Slappi Shrine.

The shrines are post-story challenges and deliberately unmapped — scan every object and creature inside each one, since several Kindex entries (including the Corrupt Creatures) exist nowhere else.

The Most Honest Mission in the Game

I Take That Back — prerequisite: die once. Objective: go get your stuff back. Raccoon Logic turned the corpse run into a formal journal entry, and it remains the only mission most players complete within their first hour without trying.
