Forza Horizon 6: Barn Find Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

There are 15 Forza Horizon 6 Barn Finds hidden across Japan — a lineup of free classic and race-bred cars spanning from the 1960s to the early 2000s, including the Toyota 2000GT, the Nissan R390 GT1, and the iconic Mazda #55 787B.

Getting to them all requires working through the game's Discover Japan progression system, and unlike Treasure Cars, none of them can be driven straight away — each one needs to be restored first.

How the Unlock System Works

If you've played a previous Forza Horizon game, note that the system has changed. In FH6, Barn Finds are completely separate from your Wristband progression — they're tied instead to the Discover Japan section of the Collection Journal.

As you earn Discover Japan points, you move through 7 Stamp tiers:

Yellow (Visitor) → Green (Sightseer) → Blue (Traveller) → Pink (Pathfinder) → Orange (Navigator) → Purple (Adventurer) → Gold (Master Explorer)

Each new Stamp unlocks a fresh batch of Barn Find rumors. You need to reach Gold to access all 15.

The activities that earn Discover Japan points fastest are Story Chapters (yellow badge activities — highest yield per minute), Touge Battles and Street Races, smashing Regional Mascots and XP Boards, and food deliveries. You can check your current progress at any time via Campaign Menu → Collection Journal → Discover Japan.

Finding the Barn and Restoring the Car

Once a rumor is active, a large purple circle appears on your map. Most barns are tucked at the end of dirt tracks, in forest clearings, or behind terrain — not visible from main roads.

ANNA Drone Mode is a big help for spotting rooftops from above when you're inside the zone.

Reach the barn, and a short cutscene plays. The car is then sent for restoration, which takes several real-time hours.

You can pay Credits to skip the wait — but the cost scales with rarity, so it's worth saving that option for high-priority finds like the Mazda 787B.

Once collected, the barn pin changes on the map, and the spot converts into a Gift Drop location where you can share cars with other players.

All 15 barn locations are pinned on our Forza Horizon 6 interactive map, with exact Stamp requirements in the checklist below. Also hunting other hidden vehicles? Check out our guides for Treasure Cars and Aftermarket Cars.
