Forza Horizon 6: XP Board Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

There are 200 XP Boards in Forza Horizon 6 — also called Bonus Boards — spread across all regions of Japan's map. Smashing one gives you XP and Horizon Festival Points at the same time, and every board you hit pushes your Wristband progression forward. Smashing all 200 unlocks the "A Few Splinters Is Nothing!" achievement.

Three Tiers, Three Difficulties

The 200 boards are split across three tiers: 1,000 XP boards are roadside and easy to reach; 3,000 XP boards sit in the countryside at moderate difficulty; 5,000 XP boards are on rooftops and elevated positions and are the hardest.

Green boards give 1,000 XP and 10 Festival Points, blue boards give 3,000 XP and 30 points, and yellow boards top out at 5,000 XP and 50 points.

The total XP from all 200 boards is 450,000 — a significant but supplemental contribution to your progression alongside races and PR Stunts.

Which Progression System Do They Feed

XP Boards belong to the Horizon Festival side of the Collection Journal — they push your Wristband tier, not your Discover Japan Stamps.

The smartest approach is to sweep one region at a time rather than chasing scattered icons across the map.

Ito has the most boards of any region, with 34; Legend Island has the fewest with 9.

Gold Wristband Lock

The 9 boards on Legend Island are locked until you earn the Gold Wristband and complete the Horizon Legend Event. Clear the other 191 first.

Tips for the Hard Ones

For 5,000 XP boards on rooftops, elevated containers, and ski-lift poles:

  • Use a powerful car such as the Mercedes-AMG ONE — consistent recommendation across the hardest boards in the checklist
  • Use the Rewind feature liberally to correct your trajectory mid-air after a jump
  • Read the specific approach instructions in the checklist entries below before attempting — the launch point for each elevated board is different

All 200 board locations are pinned on our FH6 Japan interactive map, with individual How To Smash instructions in the checklist below.
