Forza Horizon 6: Kakigori Mascot Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

The 20 Kakigori Mascots in Forza Horizon 6 are the food-themed collectibles of the Hokubu Region — shaved ice desserts hidden among the Shikisai-no-oka flower gardens, sunflower farms, and agricultural roads that make Hokubu one of the most photogenic regions in the game.

If you've been looking for an excuse to spend time in photo mode, this is it.

Every Kakigori you smash earns 5,000 CR and 25 Discover Japan Points. The full set of 20 nets 100,000 CR and 500 Discover Japan Points, feeding into your Hokubu regional stamp progress and the broader goal of collecting all 200 Regional Mascots across Japan's nine regions.

The complete 200-mascot haul earns 1,000,000 CR, 5,000 Discover Japan Points, and 20 progressive milestone rewards.

Hokubu Discovery Rewards

Smashing Kakigori Mascots contributes to your Hokubu regional discovery progress, unlocking the following milestones:

  • 750 Points: "Brain Freeze" Forza Link Phrase
  • 1,000 Points: Kakigori Mascot "Chill" Emote
  • 1,500 Points: 1981 BMW M1 — a mid-engine German sports icon and one of the most distinctive cars of its era. Worth noting: this same M1 is also available as a free Treasure Car parked under a railway bridge in the northern farmland of Hokubu, so you can claim it either way
  • 2,000 Points: 150,000 CR + 2 Super Wheelspins — the most generous single milestone reward of any mascot region in the game

Hunting Tips

Hokubu appears larger on the map than it actually is because the Estate sits to the west of the region.

Most of the 20 Kakigori mascots cluster around the central farmland area — don't waste time driving the Estate interior, as there are no mascots there.

Mascots only appear as purple face icons on your minimap once you're nearby, so work through the checklist below region by region rather than free-roaming.

While you're in Hokubu, it's worth stacking your Discover Japan Points by combining the mascot run with the Sunflower Scramble Dirt Racing Event and the nearby Danger Signs — both are in proximity to the central farmland area.

All 20 locations are included on our FH6 interactive map.

Working through all nine regions? Here are the other mascot guides: Curry — Shimanoyama, Dango — Tokyo City, Edamame — Minamino, Onigiri — Ito, Matcha — Takashiro, Omurice — Sotoyama, Ramen — Ohtani, and Tempura — Nangan.
