There are 4 Time Attack Events in Forza Horizon 6 — and the mode itself is brand new to the Horizon series.
Unlike the Festival racing events or PR Stunts, Time Attack is purely about personal improvement and leaderboard position: you against the clock, on a dedicated circuit, with no AI competitors.
Time Attack Circuits are built directly into the open world.
There are no loading screens — just drive to a circuit and hit the start/finish gantry to begin. You can arrive in any car you like and earn Credits and XP for each lap you complete.
The mode tracks sector times and uses a live delta box, giving you immediate feedback on whether you're ahead or behind your best lap — making it easy to identify exactly where time is being lost.
Every circuit has an in-world leaderboard showing your best time at your car's current PI level, your next rival, and the global top 3.
Leaderboards reset each season, creating a fresh competitive window every week.
Other players can appear on track at the same time, creating a live open-world atmosphere — you'll regularly see other drivers running laps while you work on your own.
You earn Credits and XP for every lap. Crucially, each car class in Time Attack has separate first-completion rewards — running the same circuit in different classes earns fresh rewards each time, making it efficient to return to familiar tracks with new builds.
Time Attack events also feature in the weekly Festival Playlist, where specific circuit challenges with car restrictions appear alongside regular seasonal content.
Events unlock through Wristband progression.
Hokubu is available immediately with no requirement. Soni and Sekibe require the Green Wristband.
Legend Island Time Attack requires the Gold Wristband and Legend Island access.
All 4 circuit locations are pinned on our interactive Japan map for FH6, with unlock requirements in the checklist below. For standard competitive circuit racing against AI, see Road Racing Events.
