Forza Horizon 6: Landmark Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

There are 75 Landmarks in Forza Horizon 6, spread across every region of Japan — from Shibuya Crossing and Tokyo Tower in the city to Hirosaki Castle, the Arashiyama Bamboo Forest, and the frozen Snow Monster Forest of Sotoyama.

They're also known as Discovery Locations, and visiting them is one of the most rewarding things you can do while simply driving between events.

How Discovery Works

The moment you drive near a landmark, it registers in the Discovery section of your Collection Journal and hands you Discover Japan Points, pushing your Stamp progression forward.

Most require nothing more than passing close by, but some have tighter trigger zones — driving slowly near the exact spot helps if a location isn't registering.

The Photography Bonus

Many Landmarks double as Photography Spots.

Most locations are based on real-life places in Japan, and some register as Photography entries when photographed in Photo Mode, earning additional Discover Japan Points and contributing toward the Photography category in your Collection Journal — which has its own reward cars.

Popping into Photo Mode at each landmark as you discover it stacks extra rewards onto the same trip with no extra driving required.

What To Know Before You Start

Two landmarks — Legend Island Circuit and Radio Towers — are locked behind the Gold Wristband and inaccessible until you've completed the Horizon Legend Event.

All other 73 are available throughout the campaign in any order.

Landmarks are not fast travel points — that network is handled by Player Houses and Festival Sites.

But they're a high-value source of Discover Japan Points alongside XP Boards and Regional Mascots, and hitting them naturally while driving between races is one of the most efficient ways to progress your Stamps and unlock Barn Finds.

All 75 locations are pinned on our interactive FH6 map, with direct links and region tags in the checklist below.
