Forza Horizon 6: Photo Subject Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

Documenting your travels and hunting down hidden gems for your Collection Journal is mandatory for any driver aiming for true 100% completion in the Japan Festival.

Finding and snapping all 26 FH6 Photo Subjects is the best way to rack up massive "Discover Japan" progression points, fill out your journal milestones, and unlock exclusive cosmetic rewards.

To help you with this task, we have pinned the exact coordinates for all Photo locations on our interactive map for FH6.

Additionally, we have also listed them below so you can find out which one you are missing.

Dynamic FH6 Seasonal Photo Subjects

Out of 26 Photo locations, 5 are dynamic, meaning that they will spawn only in certain conditions.

These 5 spots are highly volatile because they rely entirely on the current active Festival Season.

If you visit these locations and find nothing there, checking the seasonal rotation timer is the best method for saving your time:

  • Koinobori Fish Flags: These hanging fish banners appear strictly during the Spring season. Fast travel over to Mei's House and look directly up at the sky.
  • Water Lanterns: Active entirely during the Summer season. They can be found floating along the river basin directly southwest of the Irabuohashi Bridge map sign.
  • Tanabata Streamers: These colorful festive streamers swap places with the fish flags during the Summer playlist window.
  • Kites: High-flying traditional kites that pop up exclusively over the open coastal fields during Summer weather.
  • Sky Lanterns: These floating lanterns are tied directly to live-service community events and special seasonal nighttime weather phases.
