Elden Ring: Merchant Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

Staying stocked on crafting materials and unique gear requires finding every Elden Ring Merchant.

These traders—scattered from the starting churches of Limgrave to the shifting camps of the Nightreign Expansion area—are the best sources for finding rare cookbooks, arrows, and legendary talismans that can't be found anywhere else.

Base Game: Essential Traders

Visiting these merchants early is an important part of surviving the first few hours:

  • Merchant Kalé (Limgrave): Found sitting in the ruins of the Church of Elleh. He is your first choice for early game needs, selling the Crafting Kit, Telescope, and basic cookbooks.
  • Nomadic Merchant (West Limgrave): Located near the Coastal Cave entrance. This is the best merchant to get your first Shortbow and the Armorer's Cookbook [2].
  • Isolated Merchant (Weeping Peninsula): Found in the Isolated Merchant’s Shack on the western side of the peninsula. He is the only source for the Zweihander, a top-tier colossal sword.
  • Brother Corhyn (Roundtable Hold): Standing in the main room of the hold. He is the main source for basic Faith incantations like Flame Sling and Heal.
  • Hermit Merchant (Ainsel River): Hidden in the Uhl Palace Ruins. He sells high-level materials and the Nomadic Warrior's Cookbook [16].

Shadow of the Erdtree: DLC Merchants

In the Realm of Shadow, new vendors act as your main source of lore and specialized spells:

  • Count Ymir (Cathedral of Manus Metyr): A key DLC vendor found within the Cathedral. He is a must-visit target for sorcery builds, selling unique Finger-themed spells like Glintstone Nail.
  • Moore (Main Gate Cross): Found early in the DLC near the first map fragment. He sells heavy armor and unique crafting materials found only in the Shadow Realm.

2026 Nightreign: Limveld & The Shrouded Shops

The 2026 Nightreign update introduces a specialized economy where permanent upgrades are bought with Murk instead of Runes.

  • The Small Jar Bazaar (Roundtable Hold): Located in the southwest wing of the hold. This living jar is the main source for permanent character upgrades, selling Goblets and over 40 base-game Gestures for 200 Murk each.
  • Scale-Bearing Merchant (Limveld): A mysterious NPC (also known as Libra) that appears randomly in Limveld or at the Spirit Shelter. He is the only seller of "Nightglow" buffs, offering boons like Demon's Plating in exchange for Runes or permanent stat debuffs.
  • Main Encampment & Township (Limveld): During a Shifting Earth event, these locations spawn unique traders. Visit them to find rare Night-Aspect reagents while on an expedition.

To help you find every merchant and shop, we have marked their locations on our interactive Elden Ring mapping guide.
