These NPCs are usually found in isolated shacks, hidden underground cities, or within the new Nightreign region. They provide legendary questlines, unique weapons, and critical lore.

Legendary Questline NPCs

Following these characters is the best way to unlock the game's secret endings and most powerful gear:

• Ranni the Witch (Liurnia): Initially found at the Church of Elleh (as Renna), she later resides in Ranni’s Rise. Her quest is the only path to the "Age of Stars" ending and the Moonlight Greatsword.
• Iron Fist Alexander (Limgrave): First found stuck in the ground in Northern Stormhill. This warrior jar is a great choice for a companion, providing aid in the Radahn festival and the Fire Giant fight.
