Code Vein 2: Sword Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide
In Code Vein II, Swords are split into two primary categories: One-Handed Swords (for speed and mobility) and Two-Handed Greatswords (for high-impact poise damage). With the new Forma system, many swords come pre-equipped with unique skills like Phantom Assault or Judgment Cutter.
The Two-Handed Swords (Greatswords) are heavy and slow, but allow you to flatten "Horror" elites with ease. Greatswords will almost always push you into the "Slow" dodge category. Consider using the Mutinous Bracer to compensate for parries instead of rolls.
The One-Handed Swords are the reliable workhorses of the Revenant arsenal, often scaling with Dexterity or Strength. It is worth knowing that the Ame-no-Habakiri has a unique weapon art that provides I-frames (invincibility) during the startup animation, allowing you to "jump" over ground-based shockwaves.
