Code Vein 2: Uncanny Stone Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

Uncanny Stones are Code Vein 2's most deliberately scattered collectible — purple-glowing loot items with no obvious purpose until you speak to Jadwiga in the recreation room on the upper floor of MagMell Hub and select "Catch Up." She'll ask you to find more. And then more.

The full Requests from a Friend: Jadwiga chain runs five sequential Requests requiring 66 Uncanny Stones total — enough purple loot that hunting them without a map becomes genuinely difficult. Every stone is tracked on MapMaster's Code Vein 2 interactive maps.

What Uncanny Stones Are in Code Vein 2

Uncanny Stones are the currency for Jadwiga's VIP Pass system — the progression chain that expands Jadwiga's shop inventory with increasingly powerful weapons and materials.

They appear identically to other purple-glowing floor loot, making them easy to miss if you're not deliberately sweeping areas. They're not used for crafting or upgrading — they go directly to Jadwiga via the "Catch Up" dialogue option in the recreation room.

Jadwiga's Request chain starts after completing the Mastering Control of Time main quest, when she appears in the Present timeline at MagMell Institute. Speak to her and choose "Catch Up" to trigger the first Request.

The Five-Stage VIP Pass Chain: 66 Stones Total

The five Requests are sequential, each requiring an incremental batch of stones on top of what you've already delivered:

  • Request 1 — 4 Uncanny Stones → VIP Pass: Iron (unlocks Hanemukuro and Tyrant's Labrys)
  • Request 2 — 8 more stones (12 cumulative) → VIP Pass: Bronze
  • Request 3 — 11 more stones (23 cumulative) → VIP Pass: Silver
  • Request 4 — 17 more stones (40 cumulative) → VIP Pass: Gold
  • Request 5 — 26 more stones (66 cumulative) → VIP Pass: Platinum

The world contains approximately 76 Uncanny Stones — more than enough to complete the full chain, but spread across every region and dungeon in the game.

The Undead Forest has the largest single-region concentration, with roughly 22 stones in its open world and dungeons alone.

Jadwiga as Passive Partner: The Full Quest Completion

After delivering all 66 stones and receiving VIP Pass: Platinum, the chain pauses — it only fully closes after also completing Requests from a Friend: Zenon.

Jadwiga is Zenon's daughter, and once his quest is done, speaking to her with the "Catch Up" option lets you pass on his message. This final exchange completes the quest chain and unlocks Jadwiga as a Passive Partner in the Assimilated slot.

Unlike combat Partners like Josée or Noah, she doesn't fight alongside you — her Assimilated buffs (including Haze gain bonuses) remain active while you have a combat partner equipped.

All Uncanny Stone Locations by Region

Stones appear across every map in the game, including dungeons. Our checklist covers:

  • MagMell Hub (character customisation room — unlocks post-Clifftop Cavern)
  • The Continent (the majority — scattered across all three biomes, including two stones by the train tracks in the acid zone, one in a cave tent, one by a fountain, and a batch of three next to a rock formation)
  • Pioneer Castle (three confirmed stones across its upper and lower levels)
