Code Vein 2: Bayonet Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

In Code Vein II, Bayonets remain the ultimate high-risk, high-reward choice for Revenants who favor agility over brute force. This weapon class allows you to fluidly alternate between close-range melee strikes and powerful long-range gunfire.

Unlike Swords, Bayonets rely on a complex scaling system: melee damage typically scales with Dexterity, while the damage of your shots—which consume Ichor—is determined by your Willpower and Mind stats.

There are multiple Bayonets in the game, which, as you can guess, can be obtained from various locations. To maximize your damage, you must look beyond the physical attack stat shown in the menu.

• Melee Focused: If you use the bayonet mostly for slashing, prioritize a Dexterity (A or S) scaling weapon.
• Ranged Focused: For "bullet builds," ensure your Blood Code has high Willpower. Even if the weapon has a lower physical base, its shot damage will skyrocket with the right mental stats.
• The Weight Factor: Bayonets are exceptionally light. This makes them the best choice for achieving the "Quick" mobility rank, which increases your dodge distance and invincibility frames.
