Code Vein 2: Recipe Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide
Code Vein 2 Recipes unlock the game's item synthesis system — the crafting menu available at any Mistle that lets you produce Vaccines, food buffs, weapon salves, and stat enhancers from ingredients found in the open world.
Recipes come from two distinct sources: Hot Springs (which auto-unlock Vaccine recipes on first visit) and Partner Trade Shops (which sell food and item recipes for Trading Points).
All confirmed Recipe locations are tracked on MapMaster's Code Vein 2 maps.
Two Ways to Unlock Recipes in Code Vein 2
Hot Springs are the primary source for Vaccine recipes — crafting options that counteract specific status effects from bosses and Elite Enemies.
Every Hot Spring visit automatically adds two Vaccine recipes to your synthesis menu; no additional action is required. With 6 Hot Spring locations granting 2 recipes each, visiting all of them unlocks all 12 Vaccine recipes and the Master Bather trophy.

Partner Trade Shops are the source for everything else: food recipes (Rich Flan, Arrabbiata, Steak, Consomme Soup, Ramen), weapon salves (Fiery Weapon Salve, Poisonous Weapon Salve), stat enhancers (Fortitude Enhancer, Dexterity Enhancer, Vitality Enhancer), and combat items (Anti-Stone, Synchro Replenish, Anti-Inhibit, Anti-Stall Stimulant, Stall Trap).
These are purchased with Trading Points earned by gifting Valuables to Partners at MagMell Hub.
Trading Point costs range from 5 to 8 per recipe, depending on the Partner and recipe tier.
Hot Spring Vaccine Recipes: What Each Spring Unlocks
Every Hot Spring-to-recipe pairing is fixed — each spring gives the same two recipes on every playthrough:
- MagMell Hub Hot Spring — Stall Vaccine, Stone Vaccine. Accessible after returning from Clifftop Cavern.
- Island Overlook Hot Spring (Sunken City, with Josée) — Sunblight Vaccine, Stun Vaccine.
- City Overlook Hot Spring (Sunken City, with Josée) — Eclipse Vaccine, Snare Vaccine.
- Valley Overlook Hot Spring (Corroded Scar, with Lyle) — Dissonance Vaccine, Acid Vaccine.
- Sanatorium Baths Hot Spring (Undead Forest) — Slow Vaccine, Toxic Venom Vaccine.
- Gorge Cave Hot Spring (Undead Forest, 2277: The Present only) — Inhibit Vaccine, Fatal Leak Vaccine.
Partner Trade Shop Recipes: Request and Trading Point Gates
Most Partner recipes appear in a Partner's Trade Shop once their affinity reaches a certain threshold. A small number are additionally gated behind completing specific Requests:
- Ramen (Noah, 8 Trading Points) — only appears after completing Noah's Request: Sunken City.
- Dexterity Enhancer, Anti-Stall Stimulant, Stall Trap (Iris, 5 Trading Points each) — only appear after completing Iris's Request: Sunken City.
All other Partner recipes unlock through standard affinity progression. Each Partner's recipe list and Trading Point cost is documented in the checklist below.
