Code Vein 2: Recipe Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide
In Code Vein II, "Recipes" (Item Synthesis Recipes) are predominantly used to craft Vaccines (debuff resistance) and Stimulants (temporary stat buffs). Unlike standard weapon crafting, these are primarily unlocked by interacting with the 6 Hot Springs scattered across the world.
Each Hot Spring grants two specific recipes upon your first visit. Once you have unlocked a recipe, you can craft the items at any Mistle or by speaking to Coco at the MagMell Hub.
Occasionally, while resting in a Hot Spring with a Partner (like Lou or Holly), you may trigger a "Rare Idea." This unlocks specialized synthesis items such as high-tier Ichor restoratives or unique Weapon Salves.
Most recipes require ingredients found as yellow-glowing floor pickups, such as Gyokuro, Vinegar, or Chemical Lights.
To unlock the Master Bather achievement, you must manually visit all 6 Hot Springs listed above. Visiting them as part of a story mission (like during Holly's arc in the Sanatorium) does not count toward the trophy—you must revisit them and interact with the water individually to claim the rewards.
