Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced: Art Piece Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

Art Pieces in Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced are the 41 decorative items required to restore Great Inagua Manor's art collection — statues, vases, maps, ship models, furniture, and decorative objects sourced from across the Caribbean through three different acquisition systems.

Collecting 30 of them for Bernard Woodhouse via the "Art Lover" side quest earns Ezio's Master Assassin Outfit and the Obsidian Hull — two of the most coveted rewards in the game.

All confirmed world collectible locations are fully documented on Map Master's complete Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced interactive maps.

Art Lover: Bernard Woodhouse and Great Inagua Manor

Art Lover is an entirely new side quest added for Resynced, involving Bernard Woodhouse — an elderly butler who served Lady Catherine Ann Summers at the manor long before Julien du Casse seized it.

The quest unlocks after completing "This Old Cove" (Sequence 4, Mission 1), when Bernard greets Edward at the manor and explains the estate's history. Interact with the quest marker near the water wheel to begin.

Three return trips to Bernard unlock as milestones:

  • At 15 Art PiecesLe Bourgeoys Blades (Legendary Sword) and Found Coin (Rare Trinket).
  • At 25 Art PiecesThe Aquila's Sails, Aquila Figurehead, and The Aquila's Wheel — three ship cosmetics referencing the frigate from Assassin's Creed III.
  • At 30 Art PiecesObsidian Hull (Legendary Hull) and Master Assassin Outfit (one of Ezio's outfits from the Ezio trilogy).

Portraits hanging around the manor do NOT count toward Art Lover — only items listed in the Art Collection category contribute to the milestone count.

Three Sources of Art Pieces

  • 16 open-world collectibles — scattered across islands and settlements throughout the Caribbean Sea. These include items found in chests, received from Local Events, and discovered in ruins. Several Buried Treasure Chests reward an Art Piece alongside Reales and Design Plans — making Treasure Map hunting doubly worthwhile. The Chalice at Great Inagua is found in the ruins by the water wheel.

  • 6 available from General Stores — purchased directly for Reales. These are the most immediately accessible pieces for players who need to close a gap late in the quest without grinding the fleet.

  • 19 random rewards from Kenway's Fleet Brig Piracy missions — the most time-consuming source. Only Brig ships on Piracy mission types yield Art Pieces; other ship types and mission types do not. These 19 pieces are entirely luck-dependent and require save-scumming before accepting fleet reports. A mission that rewards an Art Piece displays a decorative item icon and a "1×" label in its reward list before being accepted.

The Dilettante Trophy: Art Pieces Are Only Part of It

"Dilettante" — fill all decoration slots in Great Inagua Manor. This requires all 41 Art Pieces alongside 9 Paintings (each rewarded by raiding a Warehouse), 20 Ship Models, and 11 Portraits.

Art Pieces, Paintings, and Portraits are three separate collectible categories — all three must be completed for Dilettante, but they use entirely different acquisition routes.

TIP: Start Kenway's Fleet immediately.

The 19 luck-based Art Pieces from Brig Piracy missions are the primary reason Dilettante is the game's most grind-intensive trophy.

Fleet Planning unlocks after "This Old Cove" — capture at least 5 Brigs, conquer the Fort in each region to open the fleet map, send Brigs on Piracy missions in parallel, and always make a manual save before accepting any fleet report to roll new missions without loss.
