Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced: Warehouse Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

Warehouses in Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced are the 9 locked plantation strongholds scattered across the Caribbean Sea — each containing a unique Painting needed for the Dilettante (Silver) trophy, a Treasure Map leading to a buried chest, and, on repeat raids, Preserved Map Pieces used to restore a Treasure Dealer map at Great Inagua.

The Key System: Find the Carrier, Unlock the Door

Every Warehouse sits on a guarded plantation and requires a Warehouse Key carried by a specific enemy.

On the first raid, each key has a predetermined carrier at a fixed location — the most efficient approach is to find that enemy first using eavesdropping (two guards near most Warehouses will discuss who carries the key, updating the objective marker).

Stealth-assassinate the key carrier, loot the key, then access the Warehouse.

On subsequent raids, key locations are randomized across all plantation guards — eavesdropping becomes the most reliable method to locate the new carrier.

Two Raid Types: Painting First, Map Pieces After

First raid — every Warehouse yields exactly one unique Painting (one-time only, never drops again from that Warehouse), a Treasure Map leading to a Buried Treasure Chest, resources, and trade goods.

Second raid onwards — Paintings no longer drop. Instead, Warehouses have a random chance to yield Preserved Map Pieces — one of five types of Treasure Dealer map fragments.

Preserved Map Pieces can drop from any Warehouse on any repeated raid — no specific Warehouse is required.

Farming Preserved Map Pieces requires repeatedly raiding Warehouses through the 2-hour cooldown (real time).

Shortcut: send Frigates on missions via Kenway's Fleet to reduce cooldown time. The easiest northern Warehouses for repeat raiding: Cat Island, Nassau, and Havana.

4 Preserved Map Pieces assembled at the Treasure Dealer in Great Inagua restore the Preserved Map.

Its solution leads to Florida (coordinates 381, 803) → buried chest containing the Elite Wheel, Sleek Crew Attire, and Gilt-Lined Sails.

All 9 Warehouses: Paintings and Key Locations

• Havana Warehouse — middle of the plantation north of Havana City. Available after "This Tyro Captain." Requires the Havana Warehouse Key. First-raid key: enemy in the north-west corner of the plantation. Painting: "Saint Jerome as Cardinal". Treasure Map: leads to Anotto Bay buried chest.

• Nassau Warehouse — southern Nassau City. Available during "Now Hiring." Requires the Nassau Warehouse Key. First-raid key: enemy on the south-west beach (eavesdrop two guards near the Warehouse entrance for the hint). Painting: "Harbor Scene at Sunset". Treasure Map: leads to Isla Providencia buried chest (story-gated until Sequence 8).

• Cat Island Warehouse — northern Cat Island. Story-mandatory during the "Sugarcane and Its Yields" Main Quest. First-raid key: near the Warehouse, overhear two NPCs who reveal the key carrier stands at a campfire on the path to the south-west beach. Painting: "The Burning of the Royal James" — awarded automatically during the quest. No need to return for this Painting specifically.

• Tortuga Warehouse — Painting: "Map of the World". First-raid key: loot from a banana crate slightly west of the plantation centre.

• Kingston North Warehouse — Painting: "Vanitas Still-life". First-raid key: enemy in the north-east corner of the Warehouse area.

• New Bone Warehouse — Painting: "An English Ship in Action with Barbary Vessels". First-raid key: enemy standing at the Mayan Stelae in the north-west corner.

• Matanzas Warehouse — Painting: "Merry Company". First-raid key: loot from a body behind the crocodile pond in the south-west corner of the plantation.

• Kingston South Warehouse — Painting: "Nymphs By A Fountain". First-raid key: enemy directly north of the large barn.

• Black Island Warehouse — Painting: "The Flight into Egypt". First-raid key: soldier at a campfire on the path leading to the south-west beach.

Known bug: Lucy Baldwin's 2nd Officer quest "The One with the Gun" also takes place on Black Island and can disrupt enemy spawns, causing the key carrier not to appear.

Fix: complete Lucy's quest first (available after "This Old Cove," Sequence 4), then wait 2 real-time hours for the Warehouse area to reset. Since only 9 of 12 Paintings are needed for Dilettante, this Warehouse can be skipped if the bug is persistent.
