Wuchang: Fallen Feathers: Lost Remains Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

While Forgotten Remembrances give Bai Wuchang more Manna Vase charges, Lost Remains make each charge count. These rare artifacts upgrade Manna Potency — the amount of health restored per Manna Vase use — from the baseline 30–50% recovery up to maximum healing per charge.

There are 10 Lost Remains across the land of Shu. Collecting and spending all 10 unlocks the Surging Manna trophy. All 10 are tracked with exact coordinates on our 50 Wuchang maps.

How Manna Potency Upgrades Work

Lost Remains are spent at any Shrine in the Impetus Repository skill tree's left-hand branch. The Manna Potency section has four nodes:

• Nodes 1–3 — each requires 3 Lost Remains to fully upgrade (3 pip upgrades per node)
• Final Node (Node 4) — requires 1 Lost Remain, completing the full upgrade at 10 total

Each Manna Potency node meaningfully increases the HP fraction restored on every Manna Vase use. Upgrading all four nodes to maximum transforms the Manna Vase from an emergency tool into a reliable combat sustain mechanism for the late-game bosses in Bo Capital.

The One Lost Remains Not in a Golden Chest

Nine of the 10 Lost Remains are found in large golden chests in side rooms and off-path areas. The sole exception is the Mercury Workshop Lost Remains — found on a corpse at the base of the spiral tower, not in a chest.

Players sweeping for golden chests will miss it entirely. Descend to the very bottom of the Mercury Workshop's spiral path, cross the stone path through the corrupted river at the tower base, and look for the item next to a skeleton.

Three Lost Remains With Unusual Access

Bride's Boudoir — Shaft Entrance approach required: The chest sits inside a locked cell not reachable from inside Bride's Boudoir itself. From the Shaft Entrance Shrine, cross the wooden bridge with Pendulum Hammers, then go left. Defeat the Jailor enemy fighting smaller enemies, then follow the path until two boulders roll down from above. Instead of taking the left path, go straight and drop into the pit where the boulders fell. The Lost Remains chest is inside the small room, alongside a door that opens a shortcut directly to the Bride's Boudoir Shrine.

Depths of the Capital — Bronze Pillar puzzle and Benediction Gate: The chest is in the cave behind the yellow Benediction Gate near the Panda Merchant. Reach it by activating two Bronze Pillars in the area to open doorways, then ascending via the red tree branches, and passing through the Benediction Gate using the Aurum Ancient Chisel. Follow the white branches right to descend to the chest.

Tang Emperor Palace — Second Tang Palace Maid fight: The chest is inside the large temple where the Tang Palace Maid Boss is encountered for the second time. The chest only becomes accessible after defeating her in the rematch — it remains locked until she is defeated.

All 10 Lost Remains Locations in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers

First Region (Must Collect Before Zhenwu Altar):

• Lightzen Temple — chest in the house on the right side of the courtyard just before the first boss
• Mercury Workshop — on a corpse at the tower base (not in a chest)
• Tang Emperor Palace — chest in the boss temple after the second Tang Palace Maid fight

Cloudspire:

• Cloudspire Outskirts — chest inside the tent, guarded by a Giant-Shield Brute near the large drum
• Battlefield Pass — chest at the end of the balcony outside the cave, reached via a wooden walkway past the Despair-casting enemy in the red water cave
• Bride's Boudoir — chest in locked cell accessed only from Shaft Entrance via the boulder pit

Mt. Zhenwu:

• Zhenwu Antechamber — chest in the gated area accessed via the upper floor
• Avian Marsh — chest guarded by an elite bird-like demon, accessed via the ladder to the lower area

Bo Capital:

• Burning Cave — chest guarded by a villager
• Depths of the Capital — chest on the lower ledge behind the Benediction Gate, accessed via the Bronze Pillar puzzle

NG+ Recovery

Lost Remains carry over to New Game Plus. Chests already opened in a previous playthrough can be reopened in NG+ but yield weapon upgrade materials instead of another Lost Remain.

Only the chests that were missed in the first run give a new Lost Remain on a second pass.
