Wuchang: Fallen Feathers: Gesture Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

In Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, gestures (or emotes) are more than just social animations. While they aren't tied to a specific collection trophy, they are very important for environmental progression.

You will need them to solve "Faces of the Past" riddles, interact with secret NPCs, and unlock the game’s true endings. Here is how to use them:

  • PlayStation: Press the left side of the Touchpad.
  • Xbox: Press the View button (the "Double Box" button).
  • PC: Press the Y key.

Throughout the land of Shu, you will encounter faint blue glowing markers on statues, altars, or graves. Interacting with these "Faces of the Past" presents a cryptic riddle.

  • To solve the riddle, you must stand directly in front of the blue light and perform the correct gesture.
  • If performed correctly, you will hear a voice-over from Wuchang’s past and receive a high-value reward, such as a Manna Vase upgrade, a Divine Gift, or a Jade Pendant.

Because many of the unlockable gestures are tied to multi-region NPC quests, missing a single dialogue option can lock you out of an emote for the rest of your playthrough. To avoid this, we have included these emotes on our Wuchang: Fallen Feathers interactive world maps and listed them below.
