The First Berserker: Khazan: Ring Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

Rings are one of two accessory slot types in The First Berserker: Khazan — equippable items that provide passive stat bonuses and effects to complement Armor sets and weapon choices.

With 80+ rings tracked across the game, they fall into two functional categories: role-based rings tied to specific combat styles, and element-sealed rings that interact directly with the game's seven status effects.

Every confirmed ring position — chest drop, enemy drop, boss reward, and world pickup — is pinned on MapMaster's The First Berserker: Khazan exclusive maps.

How Rings Work in The First Berserker: Khazan

Rings occupy a dedicated accessory slot and provide passive effects ranging from flat stat increases (Vitality, Strength, Endurance) to combat modifiers (critical rate, stamina damage, parry window extensions).

Unlike Necklaces — the other accessory type — rings tend toward offensive and defensive stat modifications. Most rings drop as "possible drops," meaning RNG-based loot from a specific chest or enemy at a confirmed location.

Where multiple sources exist for the same ring, all are tracked in the checklist with individual coordinates.

Two Ring Categories: Role Rings and Sealed Status Rings

Role-based rings are the most numerous category — named after character archetypes and providing bonuses suited to that playstyle. The Hunter's Ring, Veteran's Ring, Slayer's Ring, Strategist's Ring, Shieldsman's Ring, Mercenary's Ring, Defector's Ring, Cutthroat's Ring, Pilgrim's Ring, Trooper's Ring, Vicar's Ring, Choir's Ring, Archbishop's Ring, Temple Knight's Ring, Guardian Knight's Ring, Sentinel's Ring, and Floodgate Keeper's Ring each provide distinct build-shaping bonuses — from the Slayer's Ring's offensive damage boosts to the Shieldsman's Ring's defensive stat increases.

Sealed element rings correspond directly to the game's seven status effects — Ring of Sealed Venom (Poison), Ring of Sealed Plague (Plague), Ring of Sealed Fire (Fire), Ring of Sealed Water (Water), Ring of Sealed Lightning (Lightning), Ring of Sealed Earth (Earth), and Ring of Sealed Chaos (Chaos).

These scale with status effect preparations and are particularly useful pre-boss when a specific status is the primary threat. The Ring of Sealed Fire, for example, appears in Phraugh Village (×2) before the fire-using Volbaino boss fight — one of several cases where the Ring guide and the area map align for optimal pre-boss ring hunting.

Four Ways to Acquire Rings

Chest loot — the most common acquisition. Most chests carry randomised loot pools, making a specific chest a "possible drop" source rather than a guaranteed yield.

Enemy drops — the Revenant of Adversity appears as a drop source for Sealed element rings across multiple areas. Specific elite enemies (the Saint of Sin in Ivy Annex, the Twisted Mage in Imperial Palace) also drop named rings from their loot tables.

Boss drops — every story boss and most side mission bosses drop a specific ring: Yetuga → Hunter's Ring (Mount Heinmach), Blade Phantom → Cleric's Ring (Stormpass), Volbaino → Archbishop's Ring (Phraugh Village), Keshta the Unyielding → Veteran's Ring (Stormpass), Rangkus → Veteran's Ring (Palemion Citadel), Trokka → Archbishop's Ring + Drowned Witch's Ring (Lake City Aldevir), Bellerian → Strategist's Ring (Rephalan Mountains), Hismar → Hunter's Ring (Capital City Vitalon), and more.

NPC rewardElamein's Ring is the only ring in the guide with an NPC reward source. After defeating Tanya in Front of the Village Stone Gate - Remnants of Chaos, speak to Tristan — he gives Elamein's Ring as a direct quest reward. This is the only ring in the game that bypasses chests, enemies, and boss loot entirely.

Notable Rings Worth Targeting

  • Reese's Ring — found on the altar in front of a statue in Temple of Shadows - The Vow. One of two lore-named unique rings in the guide; a guaranteed world pickup at a fixed position, not an RNG drop.

  • Drowned Witch's Ring — drops from Trokka in Lake City Aldevir. One of the few named unique boss rings with a distinctive bonus tied to the Drowned Witch set identity.

  • Cleric's Ring — drops from the Blade Phantom (Stormpass) and as a possible chest drop in Lake City Aldevir and Wastus Canyon. A reliable early mid-game ring for Willpower-based builds.

All Ring Locations in The First Berserker: Khazan

The earliest rings appear in Mount Heinmach (Hunter's Ring from Yetuga boss drop) and Skoffa Cave (Veteran's Ring, Ring of Sealed Venom ×2, Ring of Sealed Fire).

Linon Mine carries the densest single-area ring concentration — Ring of Sealed Fire, Ring of Sealed Venom, Ring of Sealed Earth, Ring of Sealed Plague, Slayer's Ring ×2, Cutthroat's Ring (explosive chest), and Trooper's Ring across its corridors and platforms.

Nadin Quarry carries four rings spanning Defector's, Shieldsman's, Slayer's, and Ring of Sealed Plague from chests and enemy drops. The full Ring catalogue contributes to 100% completion tracking in the Trophy guide.
