The First Berserker: Khazan: Chest Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

Chests are the primary world loot containers in The First Berserker: Khazan — holding Armor pieces, Weapons, Rings, Necklaces, Consumables, and crafting materials across every region of the game.

With 100+ Chests tracked across all 40 areas, MapMaster's Chest guide is the only resource with every container's exact coordinate on the 40 hand-drawn maps built exclusively for this game.

Find every chest on MapMaster's The First Berserker: Khazan interactive maps without text directions or guesswork.

Two Chest Types in The First Berserker: Khazan

Standard chests open freely on interaction and yield loot without consequence. Every chest loot pool is randomised within a set of possible items, so the same chest can drop different gear pieces across replays.

Explosive chests detonate the moment they open. The explosion deals significant damage and can stagger or kill Khazan if he's standing directly in front. The practical approach: open the chest, immediately tap back or dodge away, and collect the loot once the explosion fades.

Explosive chests contain the same quality loot as standard chests — the trap is not a sign of lesser rewards. Roughly 15–20% of all visible chests are explosive, concentrated in enemy-dense areas and ambush corridors.

Three Ways Chests Are Hidden in Khazan

Freestanding chests sit in open corridors, rooms, and clearings — no additional action required beyond walking up and interacting. The majority of chests in the guide are in this category.

Mechanism-gated chests require activating something nearby before the chest becomes accessible. In El Ravaca Village, one chest sits inside a locked cell — the unlocking wheel is pinned at a separate coordinate directly linked from the chest's checklist entry.

In Silent Temple - Kaleido, two chests on the upper fire-trap walkway require climbing a specific ladder, with the ladder coordinate cross-linked in each entry.

In Embars Ruins, one chest sits at the end of a walkway accessible only via a nearby ladder — again, cross-linked.

Breakable-wall and hidden-door chests are the most frequently missed category. In Vaisar Gate, a chest sits behind a breakable wall inside a cell — the wall's position is pinned separately and cross-linked from the chest entry.

Vaisar's Hidden Chamber - Crimson Trace has two chests behind a breakable wooden wall and a secret door, respectively — both access points are mapped with their own coordinates.

Rovelion Imperial Theatre has a chest in a small room behind a hidden door. Capital City Vitalon has a chest behind a weak, breakable wall. MapMaster's checklist cross-links the barrier and the chest as separate coordinates — no text directions needed.

The Invisible Wall Chest

One chest in the game sits behind an invisible wall — in the Realm of the Living Crevice, at the edge of a balcony.

The wall doesn't appear solid to the player passing through the area normally. The chest's position is pinned at the exact balcony edge coordinate — the only way to navigate to it directly without knowing in advance that the wall can be walked through.

All Chest Locations in The First Berserker: Khazan

The earliest chests appear in Mount Heinmach (three chests: cave interior, plateau edge, Frosty Cave alcove) and Skoffa Cave (five chests across its wooden platforms, cliff ledge, poisoned water area, and spider egg sections)

Palemion Citadel holds six chests, including one explosive on a wooden platform and one behind a locked gate. Nadin Quarry holds four across its quarry platform, elevator drop ledge, lower area, and one explosive behind a door.

Vaisar Gate has seven — the highest single-area concentration in the guide — including two explosive and two hidden-access chests. Rephalan Mountains carry five chests, including two explosive.

Late-game density is highest in Capital City Vitalon (six chests), Imperial Palace (seven chests, one explosive), and Great Temple (six chests, one explosive).

Every chest contributes to the Collection Item completion tracked in the Blade Nexus menu's mission checklist.
