Necklaces are the second accessory slot in The First Berserker: Khazan, equipping alongside Rings to complete the build's passive layer.
With 90+ necklaces tracked across the game, the catalogue splits into the same structural categories as rings — seven Sealed element types tied to status effects, and a broader set of named effect necklaces for combat stat shaping.

How Necklaces Work in The First Berserker: Khazan
Necklaces occupy a dedicated accessory slot independent of the Ring slot — both can be equipped simultaneously, allowing one Ring and one Necklace per build configuration.
Like Armor and Rings, necklaces provide passive stat bonuses and modifiers. Most drop as RNG loot from Chests or specific enemies, with boss kills as the most reliable route for named effect types.
Running a Sealed element necklace alongside the matching Sealed Ring stacks status resistance for the corresponding threat — useful preparation against specific bosses with dominant status movesets.
Two Necklace Categories: Sealed Element and Named Effect
Sealed element necklaces — Necklace of Sealed Venom, Necklace of Sealed Plague, Necklace of Sealed Fire, Necklace of Sealed Water, Necklace of Sealed Lightning, Necklace of Sealed Earth, and Necklace of Sealed Chaos — each reduce buildup from their matching status effect.
They begin appearing as early as Phraugh Village (Sealed Fire, Sealed Lightning ×2, Sealed Venom, Sealed Chaos from Revenant of Adversity drops in the fishing village) and Skoffa Cave (Sealed Plague ×2, Sealed Earth, Sealed Venom), making mid-game status resistance accessible well before the fights where it matters most.
Named effect necklaces cover a wide build spectrum — Necklace of Life (health restoration), Necklace of Resilience (damage reduction), Necklace of Strikes (attack speed or melee damage), Necklace of Commitment (endurance-related), Necklace of Grace (defensive modifiers), Necklace of Avarice (loot or Lacrima), Necklace of Good Fortune (critical or luck), Necklace of Charity (support or healing modifiers), Necklace of Blessings, Necklace of Wisdom, Necklace of Protection, Necklace of Preparation, Necklace of Resolve, Necklace of Faith, Necklace of Gratitude, and others — each with a distinct bonus configuration suited to specific playstyles.
Three Unique Named Necklaces Worth Targeting
- Necklace of the Singing Hawk — drops from Princess Ilyna in Rovelion Imperial Theatre. The only source in the game. Named after the Singing Hawk from Elamein's storyline, making it one of the most lore-significant accessory drops.
- Necklace of Promise — one of two necklaces dropped by Reese in Great Temple. A named unique with no alternative source.
- Necklace of the Blood Moon — appears as a possible drop from an explosive chest in El Ravaca Village and from a chest in Ruined Citadel - Transcendental Sword. One of the few named effect necklaces with multiple confirmed sources.
Boss Necklace Drops: Every Story and Side Mission Source
Every story boss and most side mission bosses drop at least one necklace. Several drop two simultaneously — Princess Ilyna drops both the Necklace of Strikes and the Necklace of the Singing Hawk; Reese drops both the Necklace of Resolve and the Necklace of Promise.
