Nioh 3: Mission Item Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

In Nioh 3, Mission Items are critical to overcoming the obstacles found in both the main campaign and the expansive world of Myths. These essential items—such as the Gorgeous Celadon Tea Bowl, the Toji Temple Yokai Horde Picture Scroll, and the legendary Mikazuki Munechika—are not just collectibles; they are the physical requirements needed to satisfy NPC requests, breach sealed barriers, and drive the narrative forward.

Without these items in your inventory, your progression in the Warring States, Heian, and Bakumatsu will come to a complete stop. Mission Items are strategically integrated into the game's world to make sure players engage with its various combat and exploration systems:

  • Many of the game's "Myths" (specialized side missions) cannot be resolved through combat alone. You must often retrieve a specific cultural or spiritual relic—like the Tea Bowl—to satisfy an NPC’s dialogue tree or ritual requirement.
  • Unlike standard keys, Mission Items like Picture Scrolls often act as "spiritual keys," allowing you to interact with specific environment points to dispel large-scale corruption or reveal hidden paths.
  • These critical objects are rarely left unattended. You will often find them guarded by high-ranking Elite Enemies or hidden in the main buildings of fortified Enemy Bases.

Securing a Mission Item typically provides:

  • Narrative Progress: Unlocking the next phase of a Main or Sub-Mission.
  • High-Value Rewards: Completing missions tied to these items often rewards you with rare Craft Guides, Guardian Spirits, or Smithing Texts.

To prevent you from spending hours searching for a single relic, the Map Master team has documented the exact coordinates for every Mission Item in Nioh 3. Our Interactive Maps pinpoint the specific enemy you must defeat or the hidden chest you must loot to find these objects.

Use the links in the table below to see the exact locations of these items and follow our step-by-step instructions on how to use them to continue your journey.
