What Lady Statues Are in Little Nightmares III

Lady Statues are small porcelain figurines of The Lady — the masked antagonist from the original Little Nightmares and its Secrets of the Maw DLC.

Their presence in the Spiral is a deliberate series callback: players familiar with Little Nightmares 1 will recognise the figure immediately. Unlike the game's other collectibles, Lady Statues aren't kept — they're destroyed.

Walking past one does nothing. Picking it up and throwing it, hitting it with Alone's wrench, or shooting it with Low's bow all register a valid destruction. The collection is confirmed by the sound of the statue shattering.

All 10 are concentrated in the second half of Carnevale. Players who have cleared the chapter's opening sections without finding any statues haven't missed them — they simply haven't reached the part of the chapter where the statues appear.

The Carnevale map tracks the exact room and position of every statue, making a targeted sweep through the second half possible without retracing the full chapter.

None are permanently missable. Chapter Select is available after completing the game, allowing Carnevale to be replayed from the start to collect anything overlooked.

Three Ways to Destroy a Lady Statue

• Pick up and throw — the default interaction for most statues. Walk up, press the pick-up button, then press it again to throw. The statue shatters on impact with any surface.

• Shoot with Low's bow — the ranged option. Works from a distance without needing to reach the statue directly, and is the only viable method for one specific statue (see below).

• Hit with Alone's wrench — the melee option. Both characters can destroy statues independently, so there's no requirement to switch between Low and Alone for the majority of encounters. Either player can handle each statue in co-op as preferred.

Lady Statue #4: The One That Can Kill You

Lady Statue #4 sits in front of a carnevale booth — and approaching it directly triggers a lethal hazard. The area in front of the booth is dangerous in a way that isn't obvious on first entry. The tracker entry carries a specific warning: shoot the statue from a distance with Low's bow.

This is the only Lady Statue in the game where approaching is fatal and remote destruction is mandatory.

In co-op, Low should handle this one while Alone stays back. In solo play, switch to Low before entering the booth area and fire from the entrance rather than advancing into the booth's space.

A Series Callback Worth Knowing

The Lady — the masked, elegant figure these statues depict — is the primary antagonist of Little Nightmares (2017) and features throughout its Secrets of the Maw DLC.

Her connection to the Spiral and to the events of Little Nightmares III is part of the broader franchise lore. Destroying her statues in Carnevale echoes the original game's tension around her presence.

For players new to the series, the statues function as a collectible mechanic. For series veterans, they're a thread of continuity worth noting as Carnevale's second half unfolds.

Running through the chapter's second half with all three layers of the interactive tracker active — Dolls, Lady Statues, and Nomes — is the most efficient single-pass approach to 100% completion in Carnevale.
