All 11 Crows in Little Nightmares III are found in a single chapter. Every one of them sits somewhere in Chapter 1: Necropolis — the only chapter where Crows appear — and every location is pinned at its exact coordinate on MapMaster's hand-drawn Necropolis map, the only interactive resource for this chapter built from the ground up. Shooting all 11 unlocks the Bird-Brained trophy.
Crows are perched collectibles — dark birds sitting on statues, broken walls, hanging buckets, and environmental props throughout the Necropolis. They're not passive. Get too close, and they take flight, disappearing permanently for that visit.
The only way to collect a Crow is to shoot it from a distance with Low's bow before it detects your approach. Alone cannot interact with Crows at all — the bow is Low's exclusive tool.
In co-op, make sure Low is the one approaching each Crow position. Solo players using Alone as the AI companion have full control and can switch freely.
A total of 14 Crows are visible throughout the Necropolis — perched across the chapter's full environment — but only 11 of them count toward the Bird-Brained trophy.
The checklist marks all 11 countable positions, so there's no confusion about which birds matter and which are environmental decoration.
None of the Crows are missable. Chapter Select is available after completing the game, allowing any chapter to be replayed from the beginning to collect anything left behind.
If a Crow flies away mid-attempt, select Restart from Last Checkpoint from the pause menu rather than replaying the entire chapter — the checkpoint system brings Low back to a position close enough to retry the shot cleanly.
Play as Low. Only Low has the bow. Alone's wrench has no ranged capability. In any encounter where a Crow is visible, ensure Low is the active character before drawing the bow.
Shoot before approaching. Every Crow has a proximity threshold — cross it, and the bird takes flight. The rule of thumb across every position in the checklist is to stop as soon as the Crow is visible, draw the bow, and fire from that distance.
The hand-drawn Chapter 1: Necropolis map pins each Crow at the position where it sits, letting you identify the safe shooting angle before moving into range.
Enable Highlight Interactibles. The accessibility option in the Options menu adds a visual highlight to interactable objects — Crows included. In the darker corridors of the Necropolis, where ambient lighting makes silhouettes blend into stone, this setting makes Crow positions immediately visible without scanning every surface manually.
The Crow sitting on the head of the statue in the chair room holds the key to the next locked door — shooting it is required to progress the story, not just to collect it.
This means one of the 11 Crows is guaranteed on any standard playthrough, even without actively hunting the collectible. It's also the Crow that most players have already shot without knowing it counted.
The 11 countable Crows are spread across the full length of the Necropolis — from the first room after the opening ladder climb through to the giant baby encounter near the chapter's end.
The densest cluster sits in the multi-statue room reached by dropping through a hole after the first big baby sequence: four Crows in close proximity on a statue, a broken wall, a hanging bucket, and a second broken wall section.
Several Crows appear near Doll locations — checking both collectibles simultaneously during a single Necropolis pass is the most efficient approach.
Lady Statues are also distributed across the Necropolis and are worth tracking in the same run. All 11 Crow spots are in the checklist below with exact coordinates linked to the Little Nightmares III interactive maps.
