Crimson Desert: Butchery Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

There are 6 Butcheries in Crimson Desert — two in Hernand, two in Pailune, one in Demeniss, and one in Delesyia — and they are your primary source for cooking ingredients throughout the campaign.

Meat is the foundation of combat-focused recipes that restore Health, and since there are no healing potions in Crimson Desert, keeping a regular stock of meat from butcheries is non-negotiable before any major fight or dungeon run.

The Single Most Important Thing To Know

Every raw meat type — Tough Meat, Lean Meat, Fine Meat, Tender Meat, and Marbled Meat — produces identical Grilled Meat when cooked, restoring 80 Health each time.

This makes Tough Meat at 10 Copper the only rational bulk purchase.

Marbled Meat at 25 Copper cooks to the exact same result. Marbled Meat is the least cost-efficient meat type — buy Tough Meat for cooking.

The Hernand Butchery stocks 12 Tough Meat per cycle, which is enough for a full pre-boss preparation.

What Each Butchery Sells

All butcheries stock the same core range: Lean Meat (15 Copper), Fine Meat (15 Copper), Tender Meat (25 Copper), Marbled Meat (25 Copper), Tough Meat (10 Copper), Bird Meat (15 Copper), and Lean Bird Meat (15 Copper).

Renee's Hernand Butchery additionally stocks a Small Bag (50 Copper). You can also sell goods back to Renee and Leonne at the Vellua Butchery — both accept player inventory items in addition to selling meat.

Restock Timing

Every butchery vendor restocks at midnight in-game time.

The Free Alternative: Hunting

All meat types can also be obtained by hunting and skinning animals — Tough Meat from deer and bears, Marbled Meat from pigs near farmland, Bird Meat from large birds, and Lean Bird Meat from small birds.

Groups of five or more deer spawn in wooded areas across Hernand, each yielding 3 to 4 pieces of meat, making a short hunting run a reliable silver-free top-up before a dungeon.

Secondary Uses

• Renee's side quest — completing Renee's side quest at the Hernand Butchery rewards the Fish Porridge cooking recipe.

• Pet trust building — feeding raw red meat to dogs grants +35 Trust per feeding. Tough Meat is the cheapest option and works identically to all other red meats for this purpose.
