Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced: Outfit Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide
Outfits in Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced are the 23 in-game earnable clothing sets for Edward Kenway — a key change from the 2013 original is that every outfit is now purely cosmetic with no gameplay stats or perks.
There are no combat bonuses, no stealth effects, and no armor values tied to any outfit, including the Legendary ones.
The choice of outfit is entirely a matter of style. All Outfit locations are documented on our Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced complete interactive maps.
Six Acquisition Methods
Story Automatic
Three outfits unlock simply by playing the campaign. Duncan Walpole's Robes (after defeating Walpole on Cape Bonavista in Sequence 1), Edward Kenway's Robes (early Havana, after Edward modifies the Assassin disguise), and the Foreign Diplomat Disguise (Sequence 12, "A Governor No Longer" — used during the mission and kept afterward).
General Store Purchase
Several outfits are bought directly. The Pirate Cloak (Common, 600 Reales) becomes available after completing "This Tyro Captain." The Officer's Outfit unlocks after "Overrun and Outnumbered." At Great Inagua General Store Level 2: Politician's Outfit, Merchant Outfit, and Privateer Outfit (all Rare, 3,000 Reales each).
World Chests
The Brown Cloak (Common) sits in a Secret chest at coordinates 204, 573 in Havana — inside the courtyard of the southwestern manor, under the Pergola near a small house.
Captain Morgan's Redingote is on Mystery Island (913, 124). The Governor's Outfit is on Black Island (914, 618). Captain Drake's Outfit is on Principe Island (116, 11).
The Crimson Cloak comes from the buried chest solution to the Nassau Warehouse Treasure Map (dig at 487, 11).
Treasure Dealer Craft
Unlocked after building the Treasure Dealer at Great Inagua and trading hunting materials. Shark Hunter Outfit and Whaler Outfit (5,000 Reales each).
Feline Pelt Outfit (2 Ocelot Pelts + 6 Jaguar Pelts + 1 White Jaguar Pelt + 2 Black Jaguar Pelts). Hunter Outfit (reward from solving the Restored Digested Map — assembled from White Jaguar fragments).
Collectible Unlock Chains
The most time-intensive outfits, each requiring completing a major side system:
- Mayan Outfit (Legendary) — collect all 16 Mayan Stelae. A waypoint then appears on Tulum leading to a secret door in the ruins. The outfit is inside.
- Templar Armor (Legendary) — obtain all 5 Templar Keys (1 from Julien Du Casse in "A Single Madman" + 4 from the Templar Hunt questlines) and open the gate in Edward's Manor at Great Inagua.
- Stealth Outfit (Rare) — complete 16 Assassin Contracts (just over half the full contract list). Also rewards the Hidden Ones Sigil Legendary Trinket. Completing every Assassin Contract gives the Spring-Steel Swords.
- Master Assassin Outfit (Legendary, Ezio's robes) — complete the Art Lover side quest with Bernard Woodhouse: return all 30 Art Pieces collected for the Great Inagua Manor.
- Haytham Kenway's Overcoat (Legendary) — hang all 11 Paintings (Character Portraits) in Edward's Manor. A Treasure Map is then received — solve it to unlock the Overcoat.
- Animus Hub — three free outfits through Animus Projects (free battle passes progressed by earning Data Fragments from Anomaly challenges): Naoe's Robes from AC Shadows (Riptides Project, Level 12), Yasuke's Yoroi from AC Shadows (Undertow Project, Level 12), and Dark Animus Corsair Robes (Eye in the Dark Project, Level 18).
Connor's Outfit and other legacy AC outfits are purchasable from the Animus Exchange for Animus Keys (Connor's costs 3,000 Keys).
The Nomad's Bronze Ensemble is available entirely free — simply claim it from the in-game store tab at any time, no payment required.
