Resident Evil Requiem: Tracking Modules Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

In the high-stakes economy of Resident Evil 9: Requiem, your ability to upgrade Leon Kennedy’s arsenal depends entirely on finding all Tracking Module locations. These high-tech data drives act as the game’s primary "treasure" items—while they serve no direct combat purpose, they are automatically converted into Credits the moment you interact with a Supply Box.

Securing a full set of these modules is the only way to afford the game’s most expensive tactical gear, such as the Infinite Rocket Launcher, without grinding through multiple playthroughs.

Tracking Modules are exclusively used by Leon during his action-oriented segments. Unlike Grace, who relies on biological research, Leon uses these modules to "fund" his mission through the BSAA’s automated supply network:

  • Modules are ranked by rarity (Common, Rare, and Legendary). A single Legendary Tracking Module can grant enough Credits to fully kit out a new firearm.
  • Credits earned from these modules allow you to purchase high-caliber ammunition and even unlock weapons like the Matilda IMP or the 990-TAC Shotgun.

Tracking Modules are smaller than most items and can be difficult to spot in the dark. To maximize your credit gain, follow these tips:

  • Every Tracking Module emits a subtle, rhythmic blue pulse. If you see a blue glint in a room, it’s likely a module.
  • Most Legendary modules are secured inside BSAA Containers. Finding the BSAA Container Key in East Raccoon City is the only way to access these high-yield vaults.
  • In industrial areas, modules are occasionally placed on high shelves that require you to shoot a nearby ladder or crate to reach.

Walking past a Legendary module can cost you thousands of Credits. To eliminate these financial blind spots, the Map Master team has included every fixed salvage point within our comprehensive Resident Evil 9: Requiem strategy maps.
