Resident Evil Requiem: BSAA Container Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

There are 3 BSAA Containers in Resident Evil Requiem — large blue shipping crates found exclusively in East Raccoon City, accessible only as Leon Kennedy.

Opening all three earns the "Crate Expectations" Bronze trophy and yields some of the best loot in Leon's section of the game.

All three containers are pinned on the East Raccoon City interactive map — the checklist below tracks each one with its exact access route, including the sewers revisit required for Container 04.

What Are BSAA Containers in Resident Evil Requiem?

BSAA Containers are special locked blue crates scattered across East Raccoon City during Leon's section of the game.

You won't be able to open them right away — you must first reach a specific story point to obtain the Container Key.

Once the key is in your inventory, each unopened container is marked on your map — press the map button and look for the distinctive crate icon. All three must be opened in a single playthrough for the trophy to unlock.

How to Get the BSAA Container Key

Advance the story until you reach the Underground Parking Garage.

There you find a flooded gate with a control panel that requires two batteries. Insert both batteries to open the gate — the BSAA Container Key is then obtained automatically during the cutscene that follows.

It is unmissable as long as you complete this story step. One battery is in the northwest corner of the Garage; the other is in the Sewage Facility.

Critical: Don't Trigger the Detonator Yet

The single most important rule: do not detonate the gate bomb until all three BSAA Containers are open. Triggering the detonator advances the story past the point of no return for East Raccoon City, locking you out permanently.

Once you have the BSAA Container Key, open all three containers before proceeding with any story objective that leads to the detonator.

What's Inside Each Container?

  • Container 02 — next to the Central Camp tent near the save point. Contains the Repair Kit, which is combined with other story items to build the detonator needed for progression, along with the motorcycle used once you've completed the main objectives in this zone. This is the most story-critical container and the only one most players open naturally.

  • Container 03 — eastern side of East Raccoon City, behind a crashed truck. Climb the half-ladder on the truck's side to reach it. Inside: the BSAA Charm (improves sniper rifle damage when scope not equipped) and a Legendary Tracking Module worth 8,600 credits — one of the most valuable single pickups in Leon's entire section.

  • Container 04 — at the end of the street near the Applegate Hotel, at the start of the East Raccoon City area where you first arrived. You will have walked past this container early in the story before obtaining the key. To return to it, follow the path through the underground sewers, which loops back to the start of Raccoon City. Contains ammo for various weapons.

Container 04: The Sewers Revisit

Container 04's location near the start of the area means you pass it before getting the key and need to backtrack. T

he cleanest route: get the key via the parking gate cutscene, open Container 02 at Central Camp, push forward to open Container 03 on the main street, then take the sewers route back to the start to reach Container 04.

The trophy unlocks immediately upon opening the third container — no menu interaction required.

Find all three containers on the East Raccoon City map and track everything in the broader Resident Evil Requiem guide hub.
