Nioh 3: Ninja's Locks Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

To reach the peak of shinobi mastery in Nioh 3, you'll need more than just experience—you’ll need Ninja’s Locks. These rare, ancient relics are the lifeblood of any stealth-focused build, providing the Ninjutsu Skill Points required to unlock high-tier Martial Arts and tactical tools. From the devastating Fire Shuriken to the game-changing Burrow ability, these Locks allow you to bypass the standard level grind and evolve your combat style with surgical precision.

With the introduction of new weapon classes like the Dual Ninja Swords and expanded Kusarigama trees, tracking down every set of Locks is the only way to fully optimize your arsenal for the challenges of the Warring States.

Unlike typical loot, Ninja’s Locks are integrated into the core progression of the game world. Finding them doesn't just grant skill points; it fuels your overall regional dominance:

  • Every set of Locks you recover contributes to your regional completion percentage. As you hit higher tiers, you earn Permanent Base Stat Increases—boosting your health, Ki, and raw Ninjutsu Power.
  • High Exploration Levels are the only way to reveal the exact locations of Chijiko, Kodama, and Hot Springs on your compass.
  • While many are found on Amrita Corpses at the end of vertical Spirit Vein paths, the most coveted Locks are rewarded for liberating Enemy Bases, defeating specific Crucible Wraiths, or completing narrative Myths.

In Nioh 3, the Ninja Style relies on versatility. Collecting all available Locks helps you have the points necessary to equip Advanced Arts such as the Shadowstitch for crowd control or the Falcon Strike for vertical engagement.

Because many Ninja’s Locks are hidden behind Nurikabe walls or in the rafters of fortified castles, they are incredibly easy to miss. To make sure your build never hits a ceiling, we have pinpointed every Ninja’s Locks location on our Interactive Game Maps for Nioh 3.

Our map markers include detailed instructions on the traversal skills required and provide screenshots for the more obscured locations. Use the links in the table below to start your hunt.
