Nioh 3: Kodama Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

In Nioh 3, discovering all Kodama locations remains the foundational objective for any player looking to optimize their build and reach the pinnacle of the Exploration Level system. These iconic, cute spirits are hidden in the most obscure corners of the Warring States, Heian, and Bakumatsu eras.

Guiding them safely back to a Shrine is about more than just a good deed—it is the only way to unlock permanent Kodama Blessings that define your efficiency in battle.

By restoring these spirits to their shrines, you can customize your gameplay with buffs to Amrita gain, item drop rates, and—most critically—your maximum Elixir capacity, which helps you stay in the fight longer.

In this installment, Kodama are no longer isolated collectibles; they are a vital element in the regional progression. Interacting with these friendly Yokai—alongside Scampusses and the bell-ringing Chijiko—directly feeds into your Exploration Level.

  • As you collect Kodama, you earn permanent base stat increases and reveal comprehensive Area Info on your map.
  • Reaching higher exploration tiers is the only way to push back the fog on your compass, eventually pinpointing the locations of Myths, Enemy Bases, Crucible Wraiths, Spikes, and Lesser Crucibles.
  • While Kodama can be tracked by their soft glowing presence and small green hats, many are hidden behind breakable objects or within "hidden-in-plain-sight" environmental puzzles that require a keen eye.

To help you achieve total regional completion and maximize your blessings, we have marked the location of every Kodama in Nioh 3 on our exclusive game maps. Each entry in the table below links directly to our interactive maps, providing you with precise coordinates, detailed traversal instructions, and high-resolution screenshots to make sure no green cutie is left behind.
