Radio Towers in LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight are the nine Batgirl-exclusive hacking points spread across Gotham's nine open-world districts — one per district, all requiring the same Hackarang interaction, all unlocking as soon as the Chapter 4 "Out of Commission" Mission is complete.
Hack a tower, and every Riddler Puzzle, Cluemaster Puzzle, WayneTech Cache, Batcave Trophy, and open-world activity in that district appears on the map simultaneously.

How to Hack a Radio Tower
Switch to Batgirl and aim her Hackarang at the flashing panel mounted near the base of the tower.
Throw it to begin the hacking minigame — navigate the cursor toward the centre of the circular puzzle. There's no time limit and no failure state, making this a pure puzzle completion rather than a challenge.
Once the cursor reaches the centre, the tower activates: a signal pulse radiates outward across the district, and all collectible icons populate the map. The tower itself doesn't need to be climbed — the panel is always at or near ground level.
LEGO Batman Radio Tower Locations: All 9 Districts
- Tricorner — rooftop of the tall building west of the GCPD Tricorner building, next to a water tank. A WayneTech Cache sits directly below it.
- Old Gotham South — rooftop of a tall western building, next to a large water tank.
- Old Gotham North — rooftop of the tall building south of Wayne Tower, in the middle of the district. Use the Wayne Tower updraft corridor to reach it efficiently.
- Old Gotham West — rooftop of the tall building east of the Flugelheim, northern side of the district.
- The Cauldron South — top of a tall building on the southern side of the district.
- The Cauldron North — Ace Chemicals — southwestern area of the district.
- Newtown — tall building, center-east of the district near Gotham Water and Power.
- Gotham Village — Robinson Park — tall skyscraper center-northwest of the Subwayne fast travel point.
- East End — Amusement Mile — center of the district, directly above the Subwayne station.
One Critical Exception: Bat-Symbols
Towers reveal almost everything — but not Bat-Symbols.
Those 50 collectibles are the only category in the game permanently excluded from map reveal regardless of tower activation, requiring either memory or an external guide.
Post-Story Is the Optimal Time
Activating towers the moment Batgirl unlocks in Chapter 4 is possible, but we recommend waiting until the full story is complete. Two reasons: Talia al Ghul unlocks very late, and her Ninja Dash is required for several revealed Cluemaster Puzzles and Falcone Fortune heists. A
nd the Falcone Fortune and Case of Waylon Jones categories show incomplete icon sets until their own story conditions are met — hacking the tower for those districts before the conditions are reached shows fewer icons than actually exist.
No Achievement for All 9 Towers
Activating all 9 towers carries no trophy or achievement — they're a pure quality-of-life tool rather than a collectible category.
They don't appear in the completion percentage, don't count toward any milestone, and contribute nothing to the Platinum path beyond making everything else significantly easier to find.
