Forza Horizon 6: Trailblazer Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

There are 11 Trailblazers in Forza Horizon 6 — point-to-point time challenges that send you off-road between a start gate and a finish gate with no set route between them.

They're one of five PR Stunt types alongside Speed Traps, Speed Zones, Drift Zones, and Danger Signs — and the most varied in terms of terrain, covering forest paths, mountain descents, golf courses, beaches, and at the hardest end, a full cross-Japan run.

How Scoring Works

Stars are awarded based on the time remaining when you cross the finish gate.

Each Trailblazer has a specific threshold — from 15 seconds remaining (Mountain Descent, the most forgiving) to 350 seconds remaining for the Horizon Kaido, the Gold Wristband-locked endurance Trailblazer that cuts across Japan.

The time remaining requirement is listed alongside every event in the checklist below.

Car Selection

Trailblazers cross fields, forests, rivers, and hills — a pure road car will bounce and get stuck. Use something with off-road capability.

That said, not every Trailblazer demands an SUV. We recommend the Mercedes-AMG ONE for several entries where terrain is relatively smooth, while forested descents and snowy routes favour dedicated off-road builds like the Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro FE or the Ford Escort RS Cosworth.

Match the car to the specific route's terrain description.

Tips for 3-Starring Trailblazers

  • Drive through the route once, first at a reduced pace to learn the best path before going for a timed run. The start-to-finish route isn't always obvious on the first attempt.

  • Hit the start gate at high speed — the clock starts when you pass through, so arriving with maximum momentum is free time.

  • Most routes have a defined optimal path (the checklist below spells it out for every event). The challenge is clean execution, not open pathfinding.

  • Rewind liberally — there's no penalty for using it, and one bad obstacle can cost more time than the restart.

Completing Trailblazers earns Wristband progress, Discover Japan Stamps, credits, and Accolade completion.

Events unlock from Green Wristband (Bridge Underpasses) up to Gold (Horizon Kaido). If you plan to grind PR Stunts heavily, the Minka House (450,000 CR) gives a permanent +10% credit bonus on all Stunt Party events.
