Forza Horizon 5 PlayStation: Street Racing Event Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

Street Racing Events in Forza Horizon 5 are the 21 closed-road races through Mexico's urban cores, tunnels, and hillside streets — unlocked after completing the Guanajuato Expedition (Horizon Street Scene Outpost).

Beyond counting toward the 80-win Gold trophy, Street Race wins are the only way to unlock Midnight Battles — the 1v1 nighttime showdowns that carry their own two trophies. All are fully marked on our Forza Horizon 5 Mexico map.

One Expedition, Four Unlocks

Completing the Guanajuato Expedition builds the Horizon Street Scene Outpost and simultaneously unlocks four connected activities: all 21 Street Racing Events, all three Drag Racing strips, the Born Fast Horizon Story, and the Hotel Castillo player house on the map.

Completing the Expedition also earns the "Ask Any Racer, Any Real Racer" Bronze trophy.

Midnight Battles: Four Trophies Hidden in Street Race Wins

Winning Street Races progressively unlocks 4 Midnight Battles — secret 1v1 nighttime races that don't appear on the map until the win threshold is reached:

• 4 Street Race wins → first Midnight Battle unlocks
• 8 wins → second Midnight Battle unlocks
• 12 wins → third Midnight Battle unlocks
• 16 wins → fourth Midnight Battle unlocks

"I'll Just Take This Now" (Bronze) — win your first Midnight Battle. Unlocked after the first 4 Street Race wins.

"Nighthawk" (Bronze) — win all 4 Midnight Battles. Requires winning at least 16 Street Races to unlock all four, then winning each one. Midnight Battles can be tracked in the Accolades tab under Street Races.

The Marathon: The Ultimate Street Race

The Marathon is a Horizon Finale Street Racing Event — one of the six ultimate races in Mexico alongside The Goliath, The Colossus, The Gauntlet, The Titan, and The Juggernaut.

Unlocking it requires spending Accolade Points on the main Horizon Adventure progression and is one of the prerequisites for "Viva Horizon!" (Bronze, unlock your first Horizon Finale Event).

Unlike The Goliath — which has its own dedicated "Long Gone" trophy — The Marathon carries no individual PS5 trophy, but counts toward the 80 Race Events total.

Racing and Pacing: All 21 Count

"Racing and Pacing and Plotting the Course" (Gold) — win 80 different Race Events in Mexico.

All 21 Street Racing Events contribute alongside Road Racing, Dirt Racing, Cross Country, and Drag Racing. Winning all 21 Street Racing Events contributes 21 of the required 80 distinct race wins.
