Cronos: The New Dawn: Travelog Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide
Travelogs are lore collectibles in Cronos: The New Dawn, serving as the personal journals and mission logs of the Travelers who came before you. To unlock "The Archivist" achievement/trophy, you must track down and collect all 27 Travelogs hidden throughout the game's shifting timelines.
Unlike standard Files or Audio Recordings, Travelogs are directly tied to your progression and are often placed in significant narrative locations.
Finding every Travelog is more difficult than it sounds because many are Time-Locked:
- Some Travelogs do not spawn until specific story events have occurred. If you explore an area too early, the collectible will not be there.
- Once you "Dive" into a new era or complete a major boss encounter, some previous areas become inaccessible.
- You can track your progress in the Database menu. If you notice a gap between entries, it likely means you missed a Travelog in a transition zone or a boss arena.
To make sure you hit 100% completion without needing a second playthrough, keep these strategies in mind:
- Almost every Traveler Outpost (Safe Room) contains at least one Travelog, usually left near the Workstation or the bed.
- Always scour a boss arena immediately after the fight. Several Travelogs only appear once the "Unmerged" threat has been neutralized.
- Travelogs have a distinct visual shimmer that makes them stand out from the environment more than standard Files.
Because of the game's complex backtracking and time-jump mechanics, it is easy to leave a journal behind in a timeline you can no longer reach. To secure your trophy, you can keep track of these collectibles via our interactive Cronos maps or the table below.
