Crimson Desert: Confessional Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

In Crimson Desert, the law doesn't forget—it just waits for you to pay. To clear a "Wanted" status, you must visit a Confessional located inside the various Churches dotted across the map.

Once inside, you don’t just "pay a fine"; you must select the "Buy Writ of Absolution" option from the vendor menu (usually a priest or deacon). This will pull up a detailed list of every crime you've committed, from minor theft to accidental guard clipping, along with the specific price in silver for your freedom.

While you can find these "sin-cleansing excuse slips" in most major settlements, these are the three most reliable spots for a growing mercenary:

• Church of Hernand: Located in the southeast corner of Hernand town, just below the castle.
• Church of Calphade: Found in the northern town of Thalwynd.
• Pailune Confessional: Unlike the grand cathedrals, this is a smaller stand located in the heart of Pailune City.

If your silver purse is looking thin, you can choose not to buy a Writ. If you let the guards tackle you and don't resist the arrest QTE, you'll be carted off to jail.

You'll serve your time and walk out with a clean slate, though any silver you did have will be deducted to cover the debt. If you're completely broke, you'll enter "Silver Debt" (marked in red), and a portion of all future earnings will automatically go toward your balance until the Writ's cost is covered.
