Crimson Desert’s axes are the definitive heavy-hitters of the Greymane arsenal, trading the speed of the rapier for unparalleled area-of-effect damage and stagger potential. Whether you're dual-wielding the Bekker Axes found in the Underbridge or swinging the massive, two-handed Frostbite Battle Axe, these weapons are designed to turn the tide of battle when you're outnumbered.
Acquiring the most legendary axes requires more than just silver; it requires mastery of the environment and the elements. The Frostbite, for instance, requires you to track the Frost Dragon through the blizzards of Pailune, while others—like the Gilliam Axe—are tucked away in high-altitude chests that require the Force Palm or Stab abilities to access.
Remember that combat axes are categorized into one-handed (versatile/dual-wield) and two-handed (heavy/stagger) types. If you’re planning to tackle the Steel Mountain liberation or go toe-to-toe with White Horn, make sure you have a reinforced battle axe in your primary slot, as it is the difference between leading the charge and being crushed by it.
As with all other Crimson Desert weapons, we have included these weapons on our interactive maps. You can access them via the links below.
Note: While these weapons have numerous spawn points, our maps highlight one accessible location for each—typically in a safe area where you can collect them without committing a crime.
