Crimson Desert: Smithy Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

In Crimson Desert, Smithies are the centers of equipment progression. These locations are marked by an anvil icon on your map and are typically situated near the central market districts of major towns.

Every smithy offers three core services: Repairing durability, Refining gear levels (using minerals and stones), and Crafting unique weapon sets from blueprints you find in the world. Most smithies also feature a public Anvil nearby.

Your journey for iron and steel begins at the Hernand City Smithy, located in the eastern market quadrant, just a short walk from the main gate and the local Inn. This is the most important smithy for early-game players, as the blacksmith here provides the initial tutorials for Refinement Volume 1 and Weapon Repair.

As you move into the industrial heart of the continent, the Delesyia Smithy is located in the Market District; this is the premier location for high-level crafting, offering specialized blueprints for mechanical-themed gear. In the northern town of Calphade, the smithy is found near the central square and is the primary source for cold-resistant gear and Heavy Plate refinement.

For those operating in the wilderness, look for the Timberton Smithy near the sawmill or the Vilkom Outpost Smithy in the Hernand Highlands. These rural forges are essential for resupplying durability during long stretches away from the major cities.

If you are exploring the desert, the Pailune Smithy is hidden in the western market docks, specializing in lightweight, heat-resistant equipment. Remember that as you progress the Greymane campaign, you can eventually recruit a blacksmith to your Greymane Camp, allowing you to perform basic repairs and refinements from your mobile base without having to return to a city hub.
