Crimson Desert: Abyss Gear Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

In Crimson Desert, Abyss Gears are powerful, socketable modifiers that supplement your skills with everything from raw attack bonuses to unique, game-changing abilities. Unlike standard refinement, these "cores" can be extracted and moved between gear pieces, allowing your favorite build-defining traits to grow with you as you find higher-tier steel.

To begin using this system, you must first liberate a Witch vendor—either Sylvia (accessible via the "Hermit Witch" quest in Chapter 3) or the more advanced Elowen (unlocked in Chapter 5).

These witches allow you to Embed, Extract, and Create Sockets in your gear for a progressive Silver cost.

Keep in mind that different items have strict socket limits: while two-handed weapons can host up to 5 Abyss Cores, your headgear is limited to a single slot.

Whether you're farming Sealed Abyss Artifacts for rare drops or crafting late-game Abyss Cells into the legendary Abyssal Dragon Armor, your map to these cores is your map to dominating the Greymane campaign.
