Crimson Desert: Armor Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

In Crimson Desert, your armor is the only thing standing between you and a quick trip back to the nearest Abyss Nexus. The armor system is diverse, featuring over 50 unique sets categorized by material: Plate (High Defense), Leather (Attack/Speed Buffs), and Cloth (Stealth/Mobility).

While you can purchase the balanced Canta Plate Set from Rhett in Hernand early on, the most powerful gear is hidden in Ancient Ruins, awarded for Chapter bosses like the Crowcaller, or inside secret grottos that require specialized skills to enter.

Acquiring the best sets, like the Frostcursed or Shadow Armor, often feels like a continent-wide scavenger hunt. Many high-value chests are concealed behind waterfalls or breakable walls; you’ll need to master the Stab ability to pierce through water curtains and the Force Palm to shatter hidden stone barriers.

Keep in mind that armor pieces often come with pre-slotted Abyss Cores—such as the Aegis core for damage reduction—making them immediate upgrades over vendor-bought gear. Whether you're tracking the Blackwing Leather through the Demeniss fog or forging the Abyssal Dragon plate in the late game, your choice of attire defines your survival in the Greymane campaign.
