Crimson Desert: Boss Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

The Beekeeper is an elite enemy you can defeat in the clearing south of Pollengarth Apiary and east of Senia in Hernand. He may or may not drop the Beekeeping Suit.

Moren, the Mistwood Huntmaster, is a boss you must fight during The Sport Hunter quest. You can find him patrolling through the forest.

Crimson Nightmare is a mandatory boss you'll have to defeat to liberate Fort Perwin during The Crimson Nightmare Faction Quest. You'll find him inside the fort in a large clearing. To defeat Crimson Nightmare, you must use a specific strategy.

How to Defeat Crimson Nightmare:

To defeat Crimson Nightmare, you must use a specific strategy:

• Start by equipping a Scarlet Blades Gas Mask, which you can obtain from the mobs guarding the fort.
• When you reach the arena, focus on all the mobs around the boss first.
• Dodge the attacks of the Crimson Nightmare and clear the area around him.
• Now, focus on the boss and press and hold L3+R3 to activate your Focus, then press L1 to Unleash, thus staggering the boss.
• When the Crimson Nightmare is staggered, rush the boss and hit him with a mix of light and heavy attacks. We recommend using a Spear for the best results.

Found by The Eldertree during the Frozen Eldertree quest.

Kailok, the Hornsplitter, is a mandatory boss you'll have to defeat at the end of Chapter 2, during the Cheers Echoing From the Edge quest. He will be waiting for you in the Hernand Highlands Goldleaf Guildhouse arena.

How to Defeat Kailok, the Hornsplitter:

Here is how to tackle this boss:

• Focus on perfect counters to interrupt his attacks and follow up with quick combos, ensuring you conserve stamina for blocking his wide sword waves
• Avoid heavy attacks and immediately stop your offensive when he glows blue with Super Armor, as he becomes invulnerable. 
• To make the fight trivial, bring 40+ cooked meats from Hernand so you can tank damage and instantly heal while maintaining your counter-attack rhythm.

White Bearclaw is a boss you must defeat to complete the Shadows of Beasts quest.

Spawns in the courtyard of Fort Warspike. The Fort Commander is an elite enemy you'll have to defeat to complete the Piercing Spear/The Weight of Legacy faction quests.

Walter Lanford spawns during The Nemesis' Demise House Serkis faction quest.

Crowcaller is a mandatory boss you'll have to defeat twice at the end of Chapter 5, during the Secret at the Church and the Toward the Nest quests. You will finish him in the Crow's Nest in a 3 phases battle.

How to Defeat Crowcaller:

• Focus on perfect counters to interrupt his attacks and follow up with quick combos (the Lariat skill is very effective).
• Conserve stamina for dodging his Dive-Bomb (the attack he does after he goes in the air).
• Be aggressive with him and make sure you use high-damage skills like Turning Slash and Force Palm.
• Make sure you stock up on food before the fight, just in case you need a lot of healing.

Cassius Morten is a mandatory boss you'll have to defeat at the end of Chapter 6, during the Traitor main quest. He will be waiting for you in the Calphade Castle, on the southern part.

How to Defeat Cassius Morten:

• This boss has a shield, and he will block your attacks, but if you use the Tauria Curved Sword (obtained by defeating Crowcaller), you can damage him even if you hit his shield.
• Make sure you fight around the stone pillars, which will fall if damaged.
• Once a stone pillar hits the ground, you can pick it up using Nature's Grasp (Triangle + Circle on PS5), then press R1 to slam the pillar into the boss, taking a big chunk of his health bar. You can do this multiple times.
• Try dodging his attacks to avoid taking damage and so that he hits the stone pillars.
• Note that this boss has only one phase, but to make the fight easier, bring 40+ cooked meats so you can restore your health if needed.

Ludvig is a mandatory boss you'll have to defeat in the middle of Chapter 7, during the Lonely Jackals main quest. He will be waiting for you inside the fortress, up the stairs, and through the door.

How to Defeat Ludvig:

• Ludvig is a 2-phase boss who teleports a lot.
• Dodging is recommended for this boss, but some of his attacks can be blocked/parried.
• Try to attack when he stops teleporting.
• Make sure you bring a lot of cooked meats so you can tank damage and instantly heal.
• Don't forget to keep an eye on your stamina so you always have enough to dodge his heavy attacks.

Found in the Hoenmark Ruins. Defeat Beloth to make the Darksworn Blizzard in this area disappear.

Fallen God is a boss you can fight in Windsong Peaks.

Found atop the hill just south of the Spire of Ringing Truth, he appears once you step into the middle of the stone circle. After you inflict some damage, he vanishes, only to reappear later at the Spire of Ringing Truth.
