Code Vein 2: Regional Pathos Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

In Code Vein II, Regional Pathos are ancient altars that grant permanent, region-specific blessings. These act as "geographic passive buffs"—once activated by praying at the altar, the effect remains active as long as you are within that specific zone.


These are essential for managing the increased difficulty of late-game areas, often providing boosts to Ichor, Stamina, or status resistances. Once discovered, Regional Pathos appear on your map as a pulsating blue flame icon.


You can pray at an altar again to deactivate the blessing if you wish to challenge a boss at "base" difficulty, though there is rarely a reason to do so. Some Pathos in the Undead Forest (like Holly’s Pathos) are only interactable if you have achieved "Hero Status" for the resident NPC in that timeline.


You can check which Pathos are currently active by looking at the top-left corner of your Map screen or checking the Traits menu in your Character Sheet.

Found at the top of the Sunken Pylon. To reach it, take the elevator behind the elevator that goes down.

Found on the edge of the cliff.

Pathos of Carmen - The StarThe Continent

Found on the remains of a walkway by the water.

  • Max Stamina and Mind Boost while in Sunken City.
Pathos of Ella - The Sun PrincessThe Continent

Found on the lower level of the ruined building in the acid. You can use your motorcycle to avoid taking damage from the acid.

Pathos of Shizuku - The AsceticThe Continent

Found on the edge of the cliff. To reach it, go through the door of the metal structure by the road.

Pathos of Alessandro GobboThe Continent

Found inside the Bureau's Castle courtyard.


Blessing Offered:

  • Higher Drop Rate From Defeated Enemies while in the Undead Forest.

Found on the edge of the cliff, on the eastern coast of MagMell Island.

Found on the upper level of the large building. To reach it, climb the ladder on the side of the building.

Found in the elevator room in the Cliff Underground Ruins dungeon.

Found next to a tent in the cave. You can reach it through the cave entrance.

Pathos of Konrad - Father of the CultGorge Cave

Found next to the altar in Gorge Cave.

  • Max Ichor and Willpower Boost while in Undead Forest.
Pathos of Ned - The MalignedThe Continent

Found by the containers. You can reach the Pathos by dropping to the left after climbing the ladder next to the metal beams.

  • Attack Power and Status Ailment Buildup Boost while in Undead Forest.
Pathos of Armand - The WarhorseArcade Ruins

Found on the edge of the building, on the top floor of the Arcade Ruins.

Found in the back of a side room, on the lower level of the Mountain Underground Facility.

Found by the railing, on the top level of the Northern Watch Fort dungeon.

Pathos of Hyuga - The Escape ArtistThe Continent

Found on the Northernmost point when you first arrive by boat on Insula Carcere.
